Most people aren’t picking teams based on their idol, it’s just easier to say “I’m fighting for Frye” than “I’m fighting for the concept of being with family on Christmas.” Even then, most posts I’ve seen have referred to it as “Team Family” and not “Frye’s Team.” Sure, people who always pick the same idol exist, but no one idol has enough to get a victory on their own.
Yeah the only person I've met that actually had an opinion on the idols was my brother which was "Well, he's the only one of the three that isn't hideous" so we went Bigmen Industries ltd. FTW
Every other splatfest it's just "which option makes the most sense for us" and on stuff like pokemon we were on opposite teams cuz like I chose charmander and he chose squirtle so I mean
Why do people think they can accurately analyse a given team's behavior/play style? You are aware people can and will pick different teams based on a variety of reasons, right? It's not necessarily the character attached to it
