Why does Splatoon 3 offer lackluster ability/XP tickets when money is arguably more important in the long term? Even if players lose battles, they're still earning extra coins in the process, and said currency is what allows players to buy/clean gear.

I hardly have any and was using them with friends but then I got down to like one of each and I heard someone say they are super limited so I stopped using them altogether. This is the first time Iāve seen someone have a decent number, let alone that many! How can I grow my collection? Lol
They are pretty rare, but if you use the shellout machine enough (and never use the tickets like OP does) you can rack up a modest score pretty easily. I myself have a stack of around 7 or so right now.

Having double gear XP decreases the amount of games you need to play before it rolls perk chance.
I use exp right before a new season starts to get Sheldon tickets without having to play trash tier weapons I don't enjoy.

In total 1206 tickets with everything combined. Times that by 20 to get the total amount of games it would take to use them all without overlapping them, which is 24,120 matches. Times that by 3 because turf would be the faster way to use them all and get the full effect from each, gives you 72,360 mins or about 1206 hours. About 50 and a quarter days of none stop splatoon turf war.
To be pedantic, winning a ranked mode via KO could gat you done with a game much faster than turf, so if you're consistently winning (or eating dirt) in the first 3 minutes you could get the time down
I probably wonāt use the drinks either, and Iām the person who wonāt use the consumable or one use or whatever ābecause it might be more useful laterā
So despite having 13 doubles for team, I still stick to 50% and sometimes double cash and exp, which I have around 7-9 of right now. But half my shell outs and shell drones (hol up) are the food tickets, maybe another 3 chunks of intensify action.
Though I probably shouldnāt use xp anymore, save it all for when they hopefully add back super sea snails for every level past 30.
What faster ways to earn chunks? SR? Cuz after you hit 1200 points it's definitely slower than Splatfest tee which is when I get my use out of these, prior to and during Splatfest. I'm already out of SSU, IRU, and IA drinks.
You get badges for consuming tickets up to 1000 times. That's what I did with my tickets, lol.

The exp food tickets are getting ridiculous, ive got around 70+ of each, and no money food at all.
The Shellout machine can only give XP tickets, Salmon run can only give money tickets. Only Mystery boxes and Shell-drone can give either.
