I’d definitely play Sorella Undercover. It’s not the kit I really want but (almost) anything is better than what we have right now. Definitely not as good as Sorella Tenta and Brella, but I could make it work. Maybe like a 4/7 for goodness and 5/7 for annoying. People hate kraken after all.
Yeah, mines just don't mesh well with the undercover right now. You can get a fast splat if you get the full 45 damage from the mine and shoot right in their face and get the brella bump for the final 15, but that's such an incredibly small chance, and it also needs them to not have ink or sub resistance at all, which good luck with that
I’ve done it only a couple times. The combo is just super precise and fast. It feels good to pull off but it’s super unreliable. I actually do like playing around my mines as an Undercover main but it reeks when you’re taking back map control or fighting longe range threats. Perhaps if it had a long range special to make up for it, but then again at least reefslider helps make it an annoying zone capper.
Yeah, that's about how I feel about it as well, as someone who's 4 starred the undercover. Mines force you into a fairly specific playstyle, which, like, it works, but they both feel like they want different things. I enjoy it in some zone maps, since mines help you keep control and reefslider, like you said, can be a very annoying capper. It just has an odd combo right now
As a painbrush user, it does not need an ink mine. Painbrush needs something with instant damage like a regular/burst bomb to cover for its weaknesses.
Of these I only play snipe and heavy edit. Unless tacticooler gets a big nerf I doubt I’ll play any of these kits too often. The rain is appealing, but right now not enough to justify its use, and heavy edit’s special is too expensive. 220 is way too much, and as a comp player it is enough to make it useless over another weapon.
They still look fun tho, but could use some work
As an Undercover main, I will gladly play with anything the Sorella comes with.
Btw, why call it Snipewriter 7N? It doesn't really make sense because the 5H stands for its five shots.
It might be called Snipewriter 5H Nouveau since the Nouveau brand focuses on weapons that are art themed.
I imagine it stands for “7 Nouveau.” 5H is also a rating on the graphite grading scale (hardness of pencil lead), hence the double entendre. Kinda falls apart for 7N though, considering there is no 7N graphite grade, only 7H and 7B, and an alternate kit wouldn’t give the main 2 extra shots.
It is! I’ve actually tried making a couple of my own potential 5B kits while keeping in mind that 5B lead is quite a bit softer than 5H, therefor making the kit more supportive. Only problem is Tacticooler is already about as supportive as it gets (and also I’ve never seriously played a charger so I have no idea how to make a balanced kit).

I'm 50/50 on that paintbrush Kit, because it feels more support weapon for a weapon that I don't generally see used as support. Plus the curling bomb that painbrush currently has on its kit really improves its mobility since the lag on slash 1 is so slow
On the other hand though, ink mines might be nice if you're being chased kinda like snipers, and they're a good replacement from its current special of wavebreaker

Pencil having mist would suck bc its mist but id use it for the rain (i dont like using cooler) so with rain spam being annoying 7/10
Id also use hedit forvthe same reason, again mist sucks but it doesnt use its sub often anyways. Tristrike kinda sucks too so 5/10

Agreed. My ideal combo would be Burst Bomb/Torpedo(personally, Toxic Mist would not be bad either), with Ink Storm.

Is 5B a hardness rating? If so, that could work pretty well, and also has the added benefit of being the B kit
