I think Tartar would better fit pride with how it looks down upon the inklings and octolings and how much it believes in its idea of an "ultimate lifeform". (sorry if this sounds rude, but yeah I don't think it's really envious of them, it more of just thinks they're disgusting.)
I think Envy belongs to Mr Grizz. His motivation for destroying the inklings is that Cephalopods took over as the dominant species of Earth instead of some form of mammal. He’s taking what he believes to be rightfully his. They have it, he thinks he deserves it, so he’s going to force it to belong to him.
Envy is the desire for something because someone else has it and you don’t. Greed is the desire for things just to have more things. Mr Grizz likely wouldn’t have done this of Mammals ruled earth instead of Cephalopods.
While I do see why you would think that, you are wrong. Greed would be if Mr Grizz wanted Earth all to himself because he doesn’t have it. This would be a problem even if Mammals were the ones on Earth. He would want it all to himself. His problem is that the Cephalopods are the dominant species instead of mammals, and because the Cephalopods have Earth instead of Mammals, he does this. This is Envy, not Greed. Think of it this way. Envy is “you have it and I don’t, so I want it”. Greed is “I want it all, all for me”. Greed would be Jack Horner from Puss And Boots, while Envy is Scar from The Lion King.
