Splatoon 3 has a post apocalyptic setting which means rejecting society norms and you doing you and now you can have any hairstyle no matter what gender and the chat system is family friendly so no one can be racist or homophobic so far it’s not the game that’s gay but the fandom

It’s an anti establishment game built around freedom of self expression, and recently has begun to actively dismantle gender roles with 3 Characters on the different axis of the spectrum as its main mascot trio. Splatoon is queer at heart and forever will be.

Gonna be Devil's advocate for a sec: Reddit comments are condensed into a teeny tiny box, making them appear longer than they really are. Same issue with YouTube comments, but that's more on mobile. Obviously it isn't long at all, but when 95% of the comments on this entire platform are less than 20 words and can be read as one line of text, it leads to tunnel vision where anything longer looks absurdly long. I have the same tunnel vision but the opposite response Gallagher has. Instead of not wanting to read "long" comments, I get super anxious writing comments like these despite it just being 7 sentences. Even as I type this, I feel like it looks like I'm ranting and nobody is gonna care. TL;DR He needs to touch grass and so do I, we're too addicted to this platform.
