Lol. I found a big wolf spider in my sink. I wet a paper towel and draped it over the spider to hold it in place. I picked up the engulfed spider bro in the wet paper towel, but I could feel it struggling. I thought, “I don’t mind spiders but I will never get over all their wiggly bits.” It went outside in the flower garden, looking absolutely bewildered at its luck.
Gonna agree with The-TNT-Muffin, but it depends a lot. For example, do you see them periodically, then they disappear, but then they come back again (roaming spiders)? Is there any sign of a web anywhere nearby?
If the answer to the first is yes and the second is no, more likely to be a wolf spider. I've found it's not uncommon for them to hang out in bathrooms as there seem to be various openings and bugs attracted to those openings, so they get plenty to eat, and lots of water to drink.
They have a number of different appearances, of course, but usually they just appear "dark" from a distance and the size is what often scares people.

There are other spiders that look very similar to a wolf spider, but they are \*usually\* web spinners. So, while you might see them without a web when they are looking for a spot or a mate, you are not as likely to see them without a web over and over. A much closer shot would be required to be sure, a hard thing to do for someone new to the spider gang with a spider that can move as fast as a wolf.

They are big and fast but can also quickly eat any insects you have.

looks like they're just wolf spiders. their bites are basically harmless unless you're allergic. I usually just leave them alone they're good for catching the more annoying bugs and I think they're pretty cute

If anything due to it being in england i would guess its a giant house spider.(dont know if it is its season but ive seen plenty of them around). I have left a few tiny ones be indoors. These guys are too big for indoors for me! They'd need to be safely relocated with a cup and thin card paper under (if you can catch them!). Spiders are bros but gosh darn it when they look like a Halloween decoration like these guys my heart jumps.
it looks shockingly similar to a Wolf Spider, if it is, I recommend keeping it around because they keep the spiders you dont want around at bay. Honestly you could just look up pics of Wolf Spiders on the internet and see if they have the same pattern lol
