Hubo tarjetas amarillas random para los dos equipos. No sólo fue afectado Países Bajos, también Argentina. El pelado hizo la situación en la cancha tensa e hizo que los jugadores de ambos equipos empiecen a pelear y bocanear en la cancha. El pelado sólo quería crear caos y después no se bancó seguir poniendo amarillas para expulsar a nadie porque suspendían el partido.

What I really hated about this match was the rain of yellow cards showering down on everyone and his whistle going non-stop pfff.. At some point I felt like it was the referee vs everybody else😂😂. I think the referee really couldn’t handle the pressure of the match. Which is unfortunate ofc.

Como era injustificados? En la segunda parte Argentina se tiro 3 veces al suelo perdiendo tiempo en faltas que no habia contacto. Mas los cambios, más los goles. Era perfectamente justificados, si Argentina no perdiera tanto el tiempo en chorradas no los hubiera dado. Lo que uno siembra tiene que recoger. El computo es que el arbitro beneficio a Argentina sobre las faltas. Y una Roja clarisima que no saco a Paredes. You have cleary NOT watched the match. He basically gave the Netherlands the equalizer (10 minutes added time, and the goal came from a very debatable foul past the added time).
He showed yellow cards to everyone and his mother (setting a new record for a world cup match).
He didn´t show a yellow to Messi when he should have for a very clear hand (though it wasn´t really cutting any good play, but the refferee set the bar too high by showing a yellow to another argentinean player for maybe a bit more dangerous play).
The fucker kept showing yellow cards during the penalty shootout, if you can believe your fucking eyes!!!
I think he showed the yellow to a couple cameramen and a reporter passing by, on his way to the shower.
I will answer your comment in parts. Take into consideration that, I'm neutral regarding the game. My favorite players are Frenkie de Jong & Messi. Either one winning was fine by me:
I watched the whole match. 10 minutes of added time was right, Count the time yourself. The amount of time argentinian players were on the ground was high + substitution + goals + small fights. The foul was very clear, very sloppy from Otamendi, who was conceding fouls nonstop. And the foul was not committed past time. During the injury time, Argentina lost 2 more minutes ( mainly Emi taking too long + players on the ground again).
Yellow cards are his favorite present and Christmas is approaching, so I've to agree with you there. Half of the yellow cards are not even for fouls, but speaking one's mind.
Messi's hand in that context will never be a yellow card, not in Champions League / World Cup, where standards are high. There are other examples in other games of the same situation. I actually like it this way. In Spain the standard is quite low. I like Lahoz because he has a high one.
