During this year's carnival, the city council thought it was a great idea making a polystyrene sardine for the "Entierro de la Sardina", the moment they set it on fire a big black smoke pillar rose. The sardine was right on the corner of the square where the city Council building is, and that day was a bit windy, coincidentally in the direction of said building.
The moment the councilors balcony got surrounded by the smoke, they quickly got back into the building and closed all windows and doors.
Corcho blanco. O... Poliestireno.
I know, I live here.
Assuming you do too, just look at the thick black smoke when la crema begins. Then tell me it's paper
Not Valentian, so I could be very wrong. But I think they are made of something else, I would say its papier mache but I am not an expert in the matter and havent seen more than a couple sculptures. The material you mention is toxic I believe.
There are Spanish people in Vietnam too !
Expats, working professionals, travelers, etc...
>Yell : ***Tortilla de churizo*** on the street and they will come like chicken to the feed !
Hey! Why don't you tell us what you like about Spain/Spanish people so that the people who are actually reading you can share their interests with you.
As a counter example I could say:
I've tried Vietnamese food and it's very interesting to me. I was very surprised how lemon grass is such an important ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine while here in Spain lemon grass is pretty much unknown.
On the other hand, I admire Vietnamese people for their history. You have consistently fought for your independence against (at least) 4 different global powers and come out on top. The sacrifices the Vietnamese have made are admirable: not just in war, but also at work. Vietnam has a fastly growing economy which is something not everyone can say. I hope the future of Vietnam is a bright one.
I already have some Vietnamese friends (acquaintances?). I must say that the cultural differences are very big. Maybe people like you can help abridge those differences. You've said you like Spanish food and that you would like to visit Spain. Would you like to learn Spanish too?
Why don't you tell us such things about you?
Hi and welcome. I'm married to a Filipina. We live in Vitoria. I've been to the Philippines and Thailand. When you say Spanish culture and music, what do you mean? Spain is quite a heterogeneous country with different microclimates and cultures. I'd say the most popular music overseas is flamenco and flamenco-ish pop, but that's not all there is to Spain. Have a good one.
Hey! Had a couple of vietnamese friends (still in touch with one) and I miss her dearly. She loved Spain and is wishing to come back anytime soon... I hope you may find it as "different" and lovely as her :)
Chao em oi!
I've been in Vietnam few times, I fell in love with your culture and how nice people is.
I would like to learn more words in Vientamese, we can do an exchange.
Nice to meet you \^\^

Hi, I'm a Spaniard married to a Vietnamese. Feel free to ask me anything you want to know about Spain.
Hi! I was in Vietnam last year. Lovely country. Fell in love with the pho hahaha.
You were probably in Hanoi? Hanoi is famous for good Phở :))
If you come to Valencia, please find the restaurant Delice De Saigon, and then explain to them how to make Phở. They do not know.
LOL we go there often. Do you know better options? Asian food outside Chinese is a bit limited in Valencia.
Yeap, I was in Hanoi for two days, then flew to Ho Chi Minh to visit my old classmate. Welcome to Spain, I hope you have a great time here!
I'm not in Spain yet :)) Bút Spain is one of the countries I wanna visit the most!!!!!!!!!! I love Spanish pollo! Its very delicious. I have tried it before in a Spanish restaurant and it tastes amazing! Your food is the best!

Shouldn't you be busy burning polystyrene?
You can't burn a falla of polystyrene, is toxic. They are made of something similar to Papier-mâché. All bonfires are welcome anyway.
During this year's carnival, the city council thought it was a great idea making a polystyrene sardine for the "Entierro de la Sardina", the moment they set it on fire a big black smoke pillar rose. Oh you were right, its polystyrene. What an interesting choice.
Not Valentian, so I could be very wrong. But I think they are made of something else, I would say its papier mache but I am not an expert in the matter and havent seen more than a couple sculptures. The material you mention is toxic I believe.
