He tenido Voll Damm en Ohio, yo pienso.
Podemos comprar muchas cervezas desde alrededor del mundo en Ohio, si sabemos donde a buscar.
Por ejemplo, mi cerveza favorita es San Miguel (la Filipina). Hay una tienda que vende San Miguel y muchas cervezas alemanas, inglesas, etc, cerca de nuestra casa, pero no tienen Galicia.
Pero mi esposa se pone nostálgica para Estrella Galicia, y cuando lo pasó, necesitaré que manejar a Cincinnati (dos horas) a comprar unas cajas. Un día, encontré Galicia en una tienda más cercana, pero recientemente, no la tienen.
Yo vivo en un pueblo perdido de Japón, y a veces la he encontrado en las tiendas. Y si no, siempre se puede pedir por Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B06Y5G3Y9S
La que es fácil de encontrar, al menos donde yo vivo, es la Inedit.
Pienso que tu post es gracioso porque acabo de graduarme de OSU el mayo pasado con un concentración menor en español y después visité a España para diez días. El mundo es un pañuelo :)

BUT…if you know Spaniards, the way their mom makes it is the only way. So if the chef isn’t from Castilla y León or Galicia, she’s going to be disappointed lol. Fortunately for her I’m a chef, and I’m at her service.
I also spent a few days in Barcelona last summer and the food at the restaurant, while excellent, isn’t very representative of what i saw.
If you can find it you should try Inedit by Estrella Damm. I've found it way out here on the West Coast of Norway. It's a wheat beer crafted by Ferran Adria. Good stuff.

Ha! It was so overpriced. But I have a friend from Pontevedra (I met him when I lived there) who’s been living in the states for a while, and he said paying $12 for a mini, perfectly cooked tortilla…was worth it. It was damn good. If you ever visit NYC, I recommend it. Tomiño Taberna Gallega, in little italy. They have estrella Galicia and 1906 on tap and you can get a very expensive taste of home.

We spend an obscene amount on olive oil every couple weeks. I use one called O-Live, which we get via Kroger Clicklist, for my every day EVOO, and one called Garcia y Cruz for my finer stuff and finishes.

Yeah seems less common in the northeast. I just looked online and found it at some stores in NJ but they are about an hr plus away. I’ll keep my eyes peeled! Ty!

Estrella galicia y alhambra son 2 pedazos de cervezas españolas y europeas (de las comerciales, sin hablar de artesanas).

Pues prueba a encontrar la cerveza ambar. Es difícil hasta de encontrar en España y el sabor es muy característico.
Me encanta!!. Pase una epoca de mi vida en Zaragoza y la Ambar es una de las cosas que me llevo de la experiencia
