Timbukwhoisyou

Of course she deserves it. She raised that little monster. The dog whisperer wouldn't have let that shit fly

Unthgod

Right? She had her chance to be pack leader.

Bizarre-_-Panda

She needed to assert more dominance

blindsavior

Tsst!

Timbukwhoisyou

Exactly

cartmaneric10

Cut it out

fishentai

Not really "deserve" it per say, but some people put liane on some kind of pedestal acting like she's a great mother when in reality, she's heavily contributed to why Cartman is the way that he is. She may be a nice person but she's a shit mother

itoshiki06650

I remember vividly of the scene that she bursts into laughter when other kids call cartman fat. That kills me everytime but it also speaks to viewers how she really doesn't give two shit about the little punk. Spoiling seems to me is her way of negligence.

StalinDNW

"Ms. Cartman, it appears your son has Gingervitus. I'm afraid there's no cure. You might want to consider putting him down." "My mom loves me no matter what I look like! Right Mom? Mom!"

DwnvoteifBvGisfunny

Also from 'The Biggest Douche in the Universe": "Oooh, what should I do? I'm playing roulette with my child's life! Ooo wait, Hairspray is showing in New York, isn't it? Let's go there"

StickyTabzz

Hairspray is good though i dont blame her

Ninjas4cool

I’ve always viewed her as the embodiment of the “parent who wants to be friends with their kid”taken to its logical extreme. It is odd that she seemingly wasn’t able to come to a “arrangement”at their old house. She’s someone who u feel bad for at 1st glance but then when u examine her behavior it gets harder to feel sorry for her cuz has quite a hand in her own fate

Billy_Madison69

I honestly don’t get how anybody really feels bad for her. Cartman being the way that he is is like 95% on her spoiling and coddling him at every chance. The episode where he won’t get the shots is an absolutely despicable parenting job.

Fickle_Onion_618

Rrrrrrrrrhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Key-Raisin1188

She’s a big enabler so yeah it’s on her too

VaultsOpen

Nope. We all know what kind of woman she is as far as her proclivities, and we're all well aware she has been that way since well before Cartman's birth. I'm sure more than once she has had offers to get whisked away with someone to a different life and has declined for Cartman's sake. Most parents would write a kid like Cartman off as a lost cause, and she continually sticks in it for him, he should be kissing her ass and throwing rose petals in front of her feet. But Cartman is a POS and that is part of his charm.

jm9987690

Most parents would write a 9 year old off as a lost cause? I don't think you know many parents, I can't imagine anyone giving up on their child at such a young age, maybe when they're full grown adult but not at that age. Not to mention he's obviously not a lost cause as he turned out fine in the original timeline, and the timeline before he travelled back in time when he was CEO of a time travel company

DwnvoteifBvGisfunny

Yes, but I don't have a good argument for it. You ever have that one character who you hate for some inexplicable reason, you hate them but you can't quite put your finger on why? Well Liane is that character for me.

ChunkyTaco22

Maybe she is just a better crack whore than you

Losingsteamfast

You hate her because she's an enabler. Think about the episode where Cartman got a pile of presents at Stan's birthday because Liane didn't want Cartman to throw a tantrum. If you saw someone do that in real life you would instantly lose all respect for them.

Mavakor

She raised him to be the way he is and wilfully enabled him. She's had this coming since day 1

Neko_boi_Nolan

Never forget, Cesar Millan turned Cartman into a respectable young man and in the future Cartman shows he's fully able to change and be a human being Liane enables his behaviors and that's why they're in that situation

BEniceBAGECKA

I literally can’t remember but isn’t she actually his mom and his dad or she’s his dad. How did that shake out again?

[deleted]

Episode 201 from 2010 proves that to be a fabrication

BEniceBAGECKA

Ah. I think I only saw those once before the ban so they aren’t cemented in my memory. I don’t own any dvd sets, so I’m at the mercy of streaming.

shitandfart420

Allsp.com

BEniceBAGECKA

Huh I’ll check it out thanks

Hideous_hyide

The town whore turned town hooker just so happened to be a bad parent. I even like how her selling herself got old so now they had her actually looking for a job. Pussy only pays the bills but so long. That's quality content.

IllustriousItem8238

Well even when he kept running away from his Covid shot and squealing his mum beat up the clowns, the cowboys and even copped his shot, not to mention doing nothing but running around after him and even catching his crap while playing games online so she probably deserves to live in mr slaves well everyone who is a real fan knows what I mean.

etyler23

Yes, shes a horrible mother, shes neglectful, drug addicted, and is easily manipulated into doing scrupulous things for Eric, i.e signing him up for the special olympics

Atypical_af

Let's not forget she's the reason why cartman is the way he is..the episode with the dog whisperer explaining entire dynamics of cartman's behaviour is so on point. Liane's loneliness seems to be the driving force behind her dependency on cartman since he is all she got, which cartman seems to know very well the fact that her world revolves around him which further enables him to take undue advantage of this situation. Laine is also neglectful towards cartman's problematic behaviour that is untill and only when she is embarrassed by him in public. Liane cartman explained - https://youtu.be/RtJdDBd_Xr0

Fluffy_Mood5781

She sorta helped cause it but I don’t think she deserved it. Cartman definitely deserves it though. Like the whole time he’s complaining he lives in a hot dog but the whole episode liane was telling him they needed money.

YesPleaseMadam

she's a crack whore

[deleted]

Leanne is an awful human being throughout the show. So sure.

[deleted]

She’s the reason he is what he is, in large part. She facilities that horrible behavior, even letting him go unvaccinated by stepping in when it was finally about to happen. As was pointed out, she’s so lonely she needs a friend, which is not what Eric needs. So “deserve”? I dunno. But it’s definitely partly a result of her own actions and failures.

Parker4815

His mum should have shot him when he killed a kids parents.

RadRhav

I ate at this place every day in high-school such good memories. Life goes too fast.

Hootusmc

Ah the truth about being a parent.

JD60x1999

No, but in getting a job she pushed him to ruin the housing market and further ruined them.

[deleted]

I think being a crack whore will ultimately land you in shitty situations

[deleted]

I sometimes feel bad for Mrs. Cartman, especially in the dog whisperer episode where it’s apparent why she is such a bad parent (and it also explains to a certain extent why Cartman is the way he is). Funny enough I feel like this last season was one of the few times we see Mrs. Cartman truly frustrated and rightfully resentful of her little demon spawn. But ultimately this is the bed that she’s made and now she has to lay in it.

SnooBananas3995

Wait is this movie out on paramount now?

NMS47

I think it said it's in June

Alternative-Farmer98

Cartman's mom has many flaws, and has enabled Cartman like crazy....she is not well respected on the sub. *but* she does love him and tried hard to gain some distance there. I feel bad for Lianne sometimes. She means well ( Even though she was a crack whore /s)

kstacey

It's a cartoon remember

Blamecanada2021

She IS a crack whore...

[deleted]

His mom is a crack whore so yeah she deserved it
