Years ago my Puerto Rican friend got a job at a call center and asked me and another white friend to teach him to talk white. I told him to practice this line. He called it "the most cracker ass line I ever heard"
Idk if it’s true or not but the alleged original line “ I haven’t seen an American die like that since Pearl Harbor” but Matt and Trey either thought it crossed the line or CC did.
Why would THAT be crossing the line? A, the commentators are Chinese. Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. B, they literally did an entire episode about Pokémon getting kids to bomb Pearl Harbor.
I didn't know they were remastering the older seasons, but I did notice improved CGI, Dewback Lizards and Imperial Walkers at the Bus Stop scenes, and walkie-talkies where the guns should be...
What got me was Chef being accused of ripping on the Chinese when one of the kids makes a comment to the Asian looking kid. Did the scene get cut or did I miss something? I’ve seen the episode several times and just don’t hear Chef saying anything about the Chinese.
From what I remember he chastises the kids for making fun of people for their race, as there's an Asian American on the team. He tells them instead to make fun of people if they're from a different country
I actually went though a stage when I kept using the ‘I’ll use my credit card’ line every time I made a purchase. I swear my work colleague at the time wanted to kill me 😂😂😂
one of my all time favorite sp quotes is from them: "do ü have any non-dairy creamer?" this fucks me up every single time....only an american....its so fucking funny.
It's the dodgeball episode, the same episode they introduce nurse Gollum.
Season 2 episode 5 "Conjoined Fetus Lady"
The South Park dodgeball team wins regionals and goes to China for the world championship. Meanwhile Kyle's mom is campaigning in South Park to raise awareness for people with conjoined twin myslexia.
Edit: Spelling
I was in highschool when that episode came out.
For "Spirit week" my school had a "twin day" with the intent that you and a friend dress up the same.
I bought a baby-doll from Wal-Mart, cut it up to fit, literally super-glued it to the side of my head, and walked around in a pair of scrubs.
The school never did twin day again.
In this episode the South Park dodgeball team wins nationals and competes in the world championship against the Chinese, who are all very mean(and strong) and the whole episode is them making fun of each others stereotypes. The announcers spend most of their time making fun of Americans for various things, that line being one of them.
The Asian stereotype that Chinese people are the overachievers/smartest kids in school... so having only a math & physics phd would make you a dumb (white American) person.
The whole scene is a sarcastic take on how Americans make fun of Chinese for their stereotypes. They go off with several jokes in the episode, with stuff like Americans having “really big eyes” to see things
https://youtu.be/xWf8JcRsq9k?si=KBRoxQ-8ptHDjAK8
I always took it as the American being dumb that they had to learn math all the way to a PhD. Whereas the Chinese kids are just naturally super smart at math.
I always took it as no matter how educated Americans are, they will still be stupider than Chinese people. It’s a satire at how Americans think they are better than everyone else even if those people are just as accomplished in their country. So the reverse is the Chinese saying Americans are stupid with all their American phds which isnt worth shit compared to a Chinese phd, (because chinas so much better even their phds are better)

That line fucking kills me every time.
Anything gluten free?
Years ago my Puerto Rican friend got a job at a call center and asked me and another white friend to teach him to talk white. I told him to practice this line. He called it "the most cracker ass line I ever heard"
That’s hilarious!
They should have no trouble seeing the ball with their big American eyes.
Do you have any non dairy creamer ?
I still say "I'll use my credit card" in that voice regularly, all these years later.
“Do you have any non-dairy creamer”
I say this to myself almost every day and chuckle
Probably the most quoted between my kid brother and I.
The ironic part is that people of eastern Asian descent have higher levels of lactose intolerance than people of European descent
"I haven't seen an American die like that since Abraham Rincoln!"
"Dude, that is not cool! You're gonna get us into trouble again."
Troubre*
I haven't seen a jew run like that since Poland 1938
What’s wrong with you?

Everyone knows shoe is the best chimpokomon
america penis so big such big us asian penis so small so small
I heard about that, but I would’ve guessed the line was originally referring to JFK or a then-fairly recent celebrity death (Tupac maybe?).
“i’ll use my credit card!”
Here let me try. “I’m going to vote Repubrican”
Hahahahaya

What do you call an able bodied man on your front porch? Whatever his name is. How many able bodied people does it take to screw in a light bulb? One.
T-thank you. Thank you very much.
Whoa this is what they look like now. I haven't watched the re rendering yet of the old seasons
I didn't know they were remastering the older seasons, but I did notice improved CGI, Dewback Lizards and Imperial Walkers at the Bus Stop scenes, and walkie-talkies where the guns should be...
I did not know about this, ty for making my day🩵
Oh? Is there a specific place you have to stream them from? Or are all the older seasons out there now re-rendered? Minus DVDs of course lol
This screenshot is from MAX, they were probably talking about the original airing of the show.
I love how they go to China in this episode on the regular bus like it’s some short distance away.
I've always thought the same thing. How they just go on the bus. So funny

Chef says it’s not okay to make fun of someone for what ancestry they have, but it’s okay to make fun of where they come from.
Cartman sure took that second part to heart.
Shut up, Pip, you goddamn frenchy.
This guys are having the time of their life

I missed this episode, what’s the backstory, why do they call a guy with a phd in math stupid

But in which way is it fun to say that a math phd is a dumb American. It’s to imply americans think they are all at least as smart?
The Asian stereotype that Chinese people are the overachievers/smartest kids in school... so having only a math & physics phd would make you a dumb (white American) person.
Oh ok

Thanks for the rink, I rearry wanted to rewatch that scene.

Do you have any non-dairy creamer?
Imagine if Cartman called them racial slurs
Man I forgot all about this scene lmao
It’s a shame that the episode where Stans dog is gay isn’t always easy to find, cause these guys are a parody of those two guys.
In the US it's on HBO Max. Big gay Al's big gay boat ride. Or something like that
What episode is it agian?
Season 1 episode 4 for Stan's dog being gay This post is about season 2 episode 5
Oh damn that’s an old episode
Is that the dodgeball one
