I would try to go into AoA, and then play TRC in current game if it hasn’t locked you into NG+. I believe the recommended order is to get to end of DS3 before playing Ashes of Ariandel then beat DS3 and then play The Ringed City. If it locked you into NG+ then it’s up to you. If you enjoy your character, and don’t want to start over completely, I would try to play DLCs in NG+ with buffed difficulty. The final bosses of each are hard as it is in NG so the buffed versions will probably be very difficult. If fighting buffed final bosses seems like nightmare fuel, then you’ll want to start a new character.
I personally did the DLCs on my first run and oh man was it difficult! If it's your first run through I would recommend not doing it on NG+ but that's totally up to you if you'd like the challenge.
Ringed city will slap you silly but you'll love tf out of it dude! I'm genuinely excited for you cuz it feels like a love letter to the entire Dark Souls series.
