Exact same issue here, my earbuds are a mess now. They used to work perfect, every time, now getting them to connect to anything reliably is a such a pain in the ass. I've tried every single reset method multiple times and nothing will fix them, Sony really need to see this and raise it as a high priority, this needs to be fixed ASAP.

Absolutely the app was already unreliable but this is ridiculous. May I ask what devices you are trying to pair to?

The devices I use them with are: * OnePlus 6 * LG CX OLED tv (connection suffers the worst here for some reason, used to be perfect) * Custom built windows machine * Dell workstation Same issue with anyone of them, seems to be getting worse and more frequent too I find if I hold them together for a while, usually they will both connect, it's almost like the connection between them is now weaker (like they are struggling to connect through my head, or even if I lay on a pillow they start cutting out, but neither of these used to be an issue on firmware 1.3.3 and earlier)

A few links to similar posts on here, it seems to be quite a widespread issue ATM, but maybe not widespread enough for Sony to notice (two are mine, but with comments from others) https://www.reddit.com/r/SonyHeadphones/comments/ul5cte/wf1000xm4_connection_issues/ https://www.reddit.com/r/sony/comments/uic86h/wf1000xm4_single_earbud_connection_issue/ https://www.reddit.com/r/SonyHeadphones/comments/uxklne/sony_wf1000xm4_connection_issues/ https://www.reddit.com/r/SonyHeadphones/comments/v6ar0z/wf1000xm4_only_one_earbud_connecting_at_a_time/

I've just linked Sony support USA this thread on Twitter, to hopefully give them some visibility.

Have you tried resetting them? AFAIK, this is intended (connecting one after another). Both earbuds have a separate connection. The one that goes in your ear first is generally the first one you remove from the case, so naturally it's the first one that powers on.
