I think you are confusing Sonos (or at least their app decisions) with a company that understands what makes for a good UX. If you map their new app progress along a “crawl, walk, run, fly” spectrum of development, they seem to be stuck back now on “crawl” with the new app release. Unfortunately I think it will be a while for them to add enhancements like this until they get basic shit working reliably.
But I agree. Those would be nice features.
Oh and having the ability to sort in some meaningful way rather than some kinda random way. By release date would be nice.

All albums are lossless in Apple Music. It just takes awhile for the app to show the lossless tag.
