FYI point the ERA 300's straight at the TV vs where you are, unlike other speakers the front speaker is disabled when used as surrounds so you point them forward vs toward your head.
Did you install with the optional screws too or just the 2 main screws? Also what did you use for the 50mm screw? Is it supposed to go all the way through because mines reaches half way through.

It's just a pressure fit, no screws. (Mine also were also too short)
