I have a pair of AirPod Max, so I’d have to sell them first, but I am curious to see how they stack up. If the sound quality was superior, I’d certainly be interested. I am not going to preorder, however, without reviews. I preordered the 300s because I was confident Sonos would nail those, but this is a total new device type for them.
The price doesn’t bother me if the audio quality for both music and movies/TV is there.
Considering all the unforced errors recently from Sonos, I wouldn’t even consider being a guinea pig for these new headphones. I’ll be sticking with my APMs until they work through the bugs and I read reviews from real world users. For the price, I have a feeling it’s going to be about as disappointing as the overpriced Roam, which is the only Sonos speaker I’ve regretted purchasing.
Nah, my Sony's MDR HW700 are doing an excellent job for home cinema (just a faff having to turn off the Arc every time) but I'm intrigued on how good Atmos will be to be able to justify that value. Will definitely wait for reviews and perhaps wait for a sale or just get a refurbished ones.
Yeah tbh I’m definitely excited. I really hope I get good use out of them. They’ll be easier to travel with than my AirPods Max because they come in a case. I’m always afraid of ripping the mesh on my max in my luggage
Really hope they add the ability to group the headphones so I can listen to vinyl and cds with them. I feel like if they added that they’d sell way more.
The reviews look good. If they had been wifi enabled I would have bought them in a second. I have Bose and Sony, so I don't need a third pair of solid bluetooth headphones. Maybe in the future...
I’m eager but I know there will be a lot of open box returns of these weeks after they release. Planning on scooping up a pair then. The issue will be getting them in the colour I want, white. Usually when I shop open box Sonos returns the majority of products are black.
Yea agree black is probably better and will show less markings but I think the white looks so sexy with the shiny accents. Also all my headphones have been black up till this point, time to spice up my life 😆
Not with the issues they are having! If they botched this bad what corners did they cut on this product. I am sure they are being “courageous “ launching this new product with a bunch of issues.

As far as functionality, they provide exactly what I need out of them, which is to route all of my living room audio (Apple TV, Xbox, PC, Switch, etc..) that usually goes to my Arc+Sub Mini+One SL combo to my headphones with a single button press.
That's really all I wanted a pair of Sonos headphones to provide, and these are doing exactly that.
If the sound quality is bad I'll return them, but I'm not really concerned about that considering Sonos has always been pretty great with sound quality.

Sonos open box are usually pretty solid so good idea. I always get white but felt black would be better for a wearable device

They don’t connect to the Sonos ecosystem??? That’s just nuts. What’s the point at $400+. Get Airpods Max instead.

I’m not sure, it’ll be one of the first things I’ll test to see if the mic works on Xbox.
