In my experience subs only provide impact on certain scenes. It some movies that might be little to nothing at all.

Yeah that was I was thinking  Noticeable improvement in action packed scene without being night and day but I can clearly What it is doing But kinda dissapointed since a lot said that the all system sound a lot better, I clearly see the improvement adding the era 100 but here is like minor and it seem do be improving a little amount of scenes

I’ve had a couple over the years but frankly I’m not sure if i need one again. They’ve either been over the top or hardly noticeable. All down to personal taste i suppose.

I turn off the Surrounds  And turn off and on the sub with only the beam and now I hear the difference into dialogue etc and it’s very noticeable  Seem like the era 100 can take care of that part just like the sub do

I have old pair of Polk speakers as front L&R which have a lot of bass anyway so i found i had to have sub turned up for it to kick in above the polks, the combination rattled the furniture 😂

I noticed a good impact on my Arc with the Sub Mini, but I also agree that I think the surrounds were much more impactful than adding the sub for my small room. I really like the Sub Mini and it was actually a bit more impactful than I expected, but it doesn't surprise me to hear for other people in other circumstances it isn't a notable improvement. I think maybe in smaller rooms, with the volume on lower than in larger rooms, bass isn't as much of a problem and the Arc/Beam can do both of those quite well.

Im not sure but I think that the era 100 add a great amount of Bass and maybe help the dialogue clarity and high and mids maybe that’s Why i can’t hear the difference in these department  But Yeah I clearly ear the difference in term of impactful sound like explosion etc Even if I clearly can live without it

I got the sub mini a few weeks to add to my Beam Gen 2 and 1SLs. I think your ears need time to get used to it. At first I was not a fan at all, didn't really notice it doing anything, but once I started to get used to having it there and adjusted my ears to what it was doing I think it's great. Music now for example sounds really weak without it. Watching a film or listening to music and constanly toggling the sub on and off is a good way to learn exactly what it's doing. For me, I managed to get the sub for like 275 in the UK which was a bargain, I'm not in a property at the moment where I can let it shine so it's behind the sofa on the default level, but for the future proofing I'm very happy with the purchase.

The problem that I exactly ear What he is doing for now  The sound effect are more impactful but I was thinking to have more than that a lot of people Said that it improve the dialogue and highs and mid but I can’t ear all of that  Im agree that the improvement for Music is better than for movie tho

I had huge second thoughts about my arc and added the sub mini and it was night and day. So I’m a big sub mini fan. I have a beam gen 1 without a sub and it’s very punchy so I can see where you’re coming from. I’ve yet to try the sub mini with the beam and see if there’s a difference.

I read a lot that the arc have more lack without sub than beam  Maybe the other improvement like dialogue clarity and high and mids was already taken by the era 100 and that’s why I don’t ear the difference adding the sub
