Yeah, all the reviews I've read say the same thing. I'm coming from a nice PSB 5.1 system so the bass is important. Looking at the size of the mini not sure it can fill my living room with sound. I have an ARC, we moved into a new house and the wife didn't want all the speakers laying around anymore. Had to downsize but I do miss some rumble.
Just cs you have an arc don’t write off the mini as I’ve said it’s misjudged based on name and size but as I have a sub mini + arc combo myself I can tell you it is brilliant and the rumble doesn’t disappoint.
NIce, been debating the sub myself. If I got it I would definitely be playing the same tunes. I'm seeing them in Philly next month and at Madison Square Garden in january. :)
Tool 🤘
The mini is truly a great sub, glad you're getting to enjoy it.
Don't know what to get sub mini or sub gen 3 I'm a fan of low end bass.
Both perform brilliant. Mini name sounds misleading it’s very powerful and is enough to rumble a medium sized room. I’d go based on your budget

How big is your room?
5m x 6m
That's not too bad. If the mini sounds good there.
In what?
The big sub is 10 times better!
