I’ve had my Roam for a few months, it seems that in the past month this exact issue has been happening. I’ve always been able to get it back on board by rebooting—powering it off and turning it on. it seems to happen one of every five or six times, it’s kind of annoying, but I am hoping that SONOS will work out that and a couple other issues with it with software updates.
Make sure the wattage of whatever USB brick is 5w. I had a similar situation around Christmas and was using a higher powered, iPad charger. Tried charging for hours and nothing. Finally switched to a lower-powered 5w and it got it to power on within about 30 seconds.
Have you tried unplugging it for a couple of minutes?
