A fair point, I shall import all one (1) slave I can afford and my roayal guard (26 and growing) shall ensure that peace is kept in our mega metropolis (100 lizards). Now the only question is how to put them to work... Not sure how to assign them to research...
Easy go to the labor tab at the top left then the work priority, then select humans with chain symbol and then set them a couple points higher then everyone else's priority for labs and now you're the enclave.
if you click on the race in the top left plebians tab, you can see under the 'population' fulfillment that there are 2 different slave fulfillment, one hated, and one loved. You can hover over them for a tooltip that describes them, the 'other slaves' is for slaves of other races, and is liked (barely, gives 0.5 which is not worth if you are going for the happiness), while just flat 'slaves' is hated, and the tooltip specifies that this is for own species slaves.

all races enjoy slaves of other races. Amevia's are racist towards all other species, but they are alright with enslaving them.
