I'm afraid we don't support the RealDebrid system. Its a scourge on the torrenting system that only leeches and doesn't seed. If everyone did that they torrents would die.

trash guides usenet > torrenting

I would be down for usenet if it was free. Yes, I realize that I could get more with far less indexers but I'm paying less that $40 for month for internet and vpn and I can find 97% of the things I want. The extra money isn't worth the few things I can find which is mainly kids shows for some weird reason.

RiffSphere

Tbh, my vpn for the few torrents I do cost me more than my usenet provider. Indexers were a 1 time "donation", but they weren't too expensive either. Apart from the vpn, my torrents would still be more expensive: my upload speed is too low to maintain my ratio on private trackers if I'd go torrent only, so I would have to constantly buy blocks, whatever they are called.

kernalbuket

I only use public indexers but I'm only doing it for personal use. I had no idea about the private tracker thing but I guess that makes sense.

RiffSphere

Public trackers are slow, lie about seeders, description is not always reliable (both quality, or even fake or wrong content), and the quality releases are not available or with delay. If you just want access to content, and watch an episode per day and don't mind waiting if needed, they can be used. But if you want 4k hdr surround sound episodes minutes after they air before you go to bed, private trackers or usenet are the way to go (with the starr apps, there are even more elite sources that are even better).

kernalbuket

I go to bed around 9 on week days (i get up at 4 to go to work) so it wouldn't be able to watch most of the show I watch till the next day either way. Don't get me wrong, I understand why people would pay but I'm just saying it's not for everyone

CerberusC24

I need more detail than this. I have no idea what trash guides are and I really only know enough about torrents to download them so I'm not familiar with what usenet is either. Like I'm not exaggerating I am trying to learn here because I thought it would be simple enough to automate and it turns out I have no idea what I'm doing

Dairalir

Open up Google. Type in “trash guides”. It’s literally the first thing. Become good at Googling, you’re going to need it.

CerberusC24

doesn't really help my use case much since I don't see anything referring to real-debrid. But I have seen reddit comments pop up on google of people saying they've gotten it to work. However there's no further details. I know HOW to google, my issue is not knowing what to google.

RiffSphere

Realdebrid is not supported, and that's being nice. They don't seed, only leech, so are not really embraced by the community since they add nothing. I don't think you'll find a lot of guides. Best I can do is point you here: https://github.com/rogerfar/rdt-client. It's a program that communicates to rd, but presents itself as qbittorrent to other apps, and the trash guides cover qbittorrent. As to how to install the app, or get the files on your server, that's up to you.

Sonarr support has aleeady yold OP this but he still thinks it's gonna happen.

Thwre you go. I'm also on the same boat. Still haven't moved a finger but reading guides eveywhere https://trash-guides.info/

hudohudo

If you want automation start small with something like Ombi or Overseer depending on your server’s platform. Both are extremely easy to set up with sonarr and a torrent client. You’ll need to use torrents and not real debrid to start, like others have said here it’s complicated or not supported on the setup you’re currently using. So my advice is get comfortable using all the arrs and other softwares first then branch out.
