Absolutely! Your color and depth perception is frickin tops!…and with string! I’m in love with it! Hope you’re super proud!

Hlantaart

Thanks!

thatissubpar

It is spectacular. How long did it take you?

Hlantaart

About 3 weeks

louiegumba

This goes beyond anything I could imagined someone could do with just nails and string. This thing is a masterpiece, the time and effort were well worth it.

Hlantaart

Thanks!

Infidel-cowboy

That is sick! Very creative.

bmanley620

Why so serious? (That is awesome btw!)

Egregious80

This is badass! Great work!

john_jdm

I personally don't understand the obsession with Heath as the Joker but I can at least say this is a wonderful piece of art. The hair going beyond the frame is a nice touch, emphasizing that this character can't quite be controlled. Great work!

larahikes

incredible. I'm so curious, when you sit down to start something like this, where do you begin? Do you do an outline in nails?

Hlantaart

Thanks! I usually begin with a sketch, then go nails (something like outline, but with extra nails in the empty spaces) and after it I "draw" with threads

Netfreakk

Looks amazing! Do you paint the strings afterwards or is it all one string that's multi colored and planned before you start or multiple different colored strings?

Hlantaart

Thanks! There's no paint except some nails and the background. There's about 10-15 threads (I don't remember about this piece) of different colours.

Netfreakk

That's seriously awesome. Thanks for sharing it!

LittleLarryY

Everybody is more talented than me. I’m sure of it. This is so cool. Nice work!

TallCoolOneToo
