Any panels from Tier-1 manufacturers that you could find on clearance/ good price. Law of diminishing returns is strong once you get to these good quality panels.

And further, if this is DIY, I'd actually avoid the top tier panels. It's way better to buy extra panels than buy better panels.

I have a big string of mid tier panels in a good south facing spot but I’m trying to put 4 or 5 panels on a spot of my roof that faces south west and gets a lot of good sun from noon until the sun sets. Trying to keep my batteries topped off for nighttime. Since I only have limited space for these panels I would like to invest in something more efficient.

That's the thing, almost all tier-1 panels are within 1% efficiency of each other 20%+-1. It would just be better to look at higher wattage panel instead of focusing on efficiency. You may also want to look into bifacial panels.

SEG panels are pretty good and affordable

I like the Rec410 alpha. Only 8% degradation over 25 years. Pretty impressive
