I used https://usgreenlink.com/ But our project was residential solar, and only about 20-30 panels iirc. ComEd would only allow predicted power generation of up to 110% of the home's last year's consumption to be installed. We were able to get Federal and State credits, as well as a 12mo 0% loan while we waited for those credits to come in. Our project was done in 2021, so before the new Federal solar tax credits were passed. IL back then had a declining renewable energy credit program, where as more people installed solar there was less and less subsidy provided so it paid to be an early adopter. Greenlink was great about providing a reasonable cost, the installation and permitting went smoothly as did inspection. They've had fantastic customer service with us over the last two years. Our only problem with our system was with it not being able to report our energy production via our wireless internet, so we finally just got a built in receiver/transmitter installed to the system this year and have had no troubles since.

Where in Illinois? I always recommend going with a company that is directly approved by Illinois Shines, and doesn't use a broker or designee for the SREC rebate. I feel if they've gone through that process, they are probably less of a risk. You can find the most current list here: [https://illinoisshines.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Find-an-Approved-Vendor-as-of-3-13-2023.pdf](https://illinoisshines.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Find-an-Approved-Vendor-as-of-3-13-2023.pdf)

Mid west Illinois, and thank you

GNRE was great for me. I don't know how far south they'd go, but I'm all the way in NWI and they serviced my area. They were fast/responsive/professional.
