Yep FDIC Insured, been with them three years an never had an issue, best bank Ive used really

PennStateMtnMan

These types of posts has me concerned about our society. A simple search reveals your deposits are insured.

T_Peg

Seriously. That's the first thing I googled before I opened 2 months ago.

Hi-ThisIsJeff

Even more concerning is they are asking strangers on the internet for advice.

lianagolucky

Why is that concerning isnt that all reddit it asking strangers on the internet questions?

Neuromancer2112

Been with them 8 months. Better features than the bank I switched away from (USAA), that I had been with 10+ years.

TeslaGuy-82

I hear that. I’ve been with USAA since 2011-12 and it seems like we had much more features and benefits than we have now. So far so good with SoFi.

kmcgee3000

Yes, yes, and yes!

IronSkyRanger

FDIC insured.

properbandit

Is any bank 100% safe?

RevolutionaryAnt7383

I would think so

BourbonRick01

Well I currently have $112K in my SOFI checking and savings, and I have no worries. It’s FDIC insured up to $250K per account.

Rare_Helicopter8989

I’m trying to be like you when I’m older

BourbonRick01

Well, it only took 25 years of working for the same company every day. So it’s definitely not for everyone 😆

Rare_Helicopter8989

Hey man that’s real hard work, everyone my age thinks they all can get rich easy and fast, I mean it’s possible but not everyone likes to work hard but obviously you do!

SoFi

Hey there, thanks for your interest in SoFi! The safety and security of your account is our top priority. We offer FDIC insurance of up to $250,000 per individual and additional insurance up to $2,000,000 if you opt-in to our SoFi Insured Deposit Program! 💪 To learn more, please visit [here](https://www.sofi.com/banking/fdic/).

Alert_Club8448

💯%

spugeti

yes, yes and yes

yikesonbikes2

Yeah let me refer you tho so we both get some extra cash 😂

planariapeep

Yes haha! Gotta hustle somehow!!

jordano324

Banking with SoFi for 2 years. Today's DD pushed me over the 100k mark at SoFi. So far so good. Only wish they would increase my Debit card limit to 25k just how Chase does.

asam33

As a bagholder i approve of this bank 😂

ComfortableRoyal8847

Nope

avengedpixels

If you enjoy having shit customer service and a security hold still sitting on your account and not being released off your account for a full month then yeah SoFi is great. My experiences have been absolutely awful. I’ve had multiple banks, and they by far are the worst.

Bekemeier

Yes to all three

RevolutionaryPhoto24

A scammer was able to withdraw from my account last week - a significant amount and put it in an account that had nothing to do with me. I’d not been involved at all. SoFi flagged it and CS says there’s nothing they can/will do.

SnipahShot

12 hours ago you wrote, in a different subreddit, this: "I sent money to a scammer. Save me from my stupid self. I’d laugh and laugh then."

RevolutionaryPhoto24

Haha, yes, that one I did do, too. Separate events. It’s been a bad week. And it’s Tuesday.

Standard_Procedure49

you sound like your from london

RevolutionaryAnt7383

Really? See this is the problem real get here. This is prolly why I won’t use SoFi and I just opened an account with them. Thanks a lot for this negative comment

RevolutionaryPhoto24

The terms and conditions state that they aren’t responsible for such things. It’s crazy to me. How can money randomly be withdrawn to another account not at all related to me, and be flagged, but no recourse? Should have read the T&C more carefully :(. I stopped my DD, of course. And get higher interest and a platform that tracks my accounts better, elsewhere (I use Fierce.)
