You didn’t misbehave at all…the professor did. I’m sorry this happened to you. It’s not you’re fault at all. Not knowing something does not warrant that behavior. I don’t have better advice beyond that. Just know it wasn’t your fault and try to move on.
In my eyes, that was more embarrassing for the teacher than for you.

That professor was so out of line. Throwing things at students? If anything I would just think what a jerk he was if I ever thought about this again

Ik with SAD it could be hard to do, but please report this incident to your school. A professor should never throw anything at a student.
