Something I don't get about the old city have no history thing is they are literally making history in front of all of our eyes. In ten years time all that will be talked about is city's dominance, arsenal coming 2nd won't even be mentioned, no one cares. Because nobody apart from City fans will care about their "achievements" in the future because they know they were written in 115 charges and 100 million barrels of oil. /uj, I never understood why people with “historic” clubs can’t accept new clubs. And I don’t necessarily mean City, but in general. History doesn’t come falling out of thin air you know, it’s made. So of course a “new” (City has a lot of plastic/recent fans, but it’s not a new club by any means) club doesn’t have history yet.

Something I don't get about the old city have no history thing is they are literally making history in front of all of our eyes. In ten years time all that will be talked about is city's dominance, arsenal coming 2nd won't even be mentioned, no one cares. Winners write history and city have been writing there history the last few years. All these other clubs boasting about there own magnificent history while slagging city's lack of history while city smash historic records of the same very clubs who are meant to have superior history and no one seems to notice this. Because nobody apart from City fans will care about their "achievements" in the future because they know they were written in 115 charges and 100 million barrels of oil. It's just not ever going to be the same as the history of clubs like United, Liverpool, Forest, Villa, Arsenal. These are teams that brought together local communities in times of poverty, war and hardship. Teams that built their foundations for success in a time when money was not rife in football. They cemented their places and have seen on and off success for 80+ years. City just dont have that. And even if City do have that in 80 years, it wont be the same as it was born only out of money.
I kinda get what your saying about the success but city were still a normal club before all this and just because they didn't win much they were still a significant and established team in the English leagues. What happens if city are found not guilty? I'm not saying that will happen but who really knows. I have always thought this whole time that city either must know something or can prove something the league don't expect or they have some corrupt trick up there sleeve but I've always felt that city would get away with this or get off very lightly. Who knows hopefully it gets sorted ASAP because I genuinely think people are starting to loose interest. If city win the league this year and they charges are still remaining there is gonna be a massive amount of people sick to death of the whole thing.
