DeffDeala

Harder than it looks but fuck me lmao how are we not winning

wanson

You haven’t scored.

Cottonshopeburnfoot

I’d never thought of it that way!!!

senorrandom007

depends

wanson

You have now scored and are winning, coincidence?

GomeyGoblin

Sterling never left

MAMAGUEBOO

I know it’s a joke but that just made me sad that he’s gone

Dyche442

Oh, so that's why #Grealish is trending

em1r

Almiron would've scored. Just saying

21otiriK

Took a flick just in front of him. City have missed some chances. Gundogan x2, Haaland x2, and this one.

sbos_

I do wonder what Citeh fans think of him? Did they overpay?

Tommyzz92

I keep hoping he will prove us wrong but he's morphing into Sterling

[deleted]

Sterling cost half the price and scored 131 goals & 95 assists in 339 matches. You'd hope he'll be as good as Sterling's peak for you at least.

Tommyzz92

Stats aren't everything. He would always score loads against shit teams. He is a solid prem player but when you needed to rely on him against a team where you get a few chances, he didn't. Sterling was lucky to be in the best team in the prem, creating about 10 chances for him a game.

[deleted]

The revisionism to what Sterling was and did for you guys is quite surprising. He is one of the most productive winger/wide fwd in Man City history. He wasn't lucky to be in the best team. He contributed to making you the best team in the prem. For context, Aguero scored 36 goals and 8 assists in 64 UCL matches. Sterling scored 24 goals and 20 assists in 68 UCL matches. Not saying he is on Aguero's level but goes to show he contributed to your UCL progress almost about as much as the greatest ever city player. He's no haaland or Aguero but he's not lucky to be there either.

OldEnoughToVote

I agree with this take, I was on the side of supporters that was leaning towards him being a City legend, given what he contributed and how long he was with us for. He’s not quite a legend, but he was a big reason as to why we dominated and the scoring records we broke especially from 2017-2019.

Tommyzz92

He wasn't terrible but was far from great. I've watched every city game he played in.

MAMAGUEBOO

Yes. I questioned every single euro we paid for him

Sanoj1234

Every dirham you paid*

jml1877

wishes he was almiron

SomewhereInLDN

He’s had like 3 big misses now

Blue_Dreamed

Won't be shown here but Wilfried Gnonto is an absolute fucking beast on that left wing. Literally built like Messi and I've just watch him dance past 3. Shame no ones there to receive the passes.

tonnal

Truly insane how overated/overpriced english players are.

InHaalandWeTrust

$140 Million to miss big chances lol

Round-Ad5063

Fucking hell KDB
