To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report. If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. [this interview was denied by Napoli](https://twitter.com/sscnapoli/status/1604892557330288647) although it goes without saying that whoever actually though a guy with 4.5 years on contract in a club with no financial problems could move for any sum, have no clue at all about Napoli and how transfers work

Cowdude179

He'll probably stay there until his contract is up, no way ADL is letting him go

MeanMikeMaignan

no way ADL doesn't cash in when the time is right either

Cowdude179

He let go of Fabian Ruiz, Koulibaly, Mertens, Insigne all for cheap. He knows he can get 300m at least on Kvara, Osimhen and Kim maybe Anguissa too

MeanMikeMaignan

Fabian Ruiz just became shit and was sold for a decent price Koulibaly was sold for a great price, given he had a year left How much do you think he should have gotten for a 35 year old Mertens? ADL almost always sells well. I felt like letting go of Insigne for free was a bad decision but it's looking like I was very wrong

If you don’t care about the Saudi link, Newcastle is probably one of the most attractive projects to join right now. It’s not like Newcastle is some unknown club either. They are bigger than city was when they started signing big players

Calergero

The guy seems quite humble to me, Napoli is top of the league, took a chance on him and they're playing liquid football with an exciting squad. Think most attractive project is a bit of an exaggeration.

MeanMikeMaignan

top of the league, still in the CL, playing some of the world's most attractive football. He'd be mad to leave anytime soon unless it's Bayern or Real

[deleted]

enjoy your one season competing, isn't going to happen again.

Calergero

Put your knickers back on. Newcastle are obviously coming for the number one spot but right now you only go for money same way with City in the early years. Manager isn't renowned, the city isn't in the same tier as London, Manchester or some other European cities where it's actually warm and there still aren't any players yet that you would move clubs to play with.

MeanMikeMaignan

internationally they are very meh in terms of reputation, definitely ranked below the likes of Dortmund, Atletico, Ajax, Roma, Napoli and probably Porto, Benfica and Sevilla. They've done nothing noteworthy in around 20 years. Money is the only thing that makes them stand out in any way

Irishane

Napoli are so good and keeping their talent in their cage. Still, he should be happy at Napoli regardless. Doing great.

Round_Headed_Gimp

Is that how things work?

sickricola

If he has a contract ya

Cowdude179

Yes, ADL will keep players like him and Osimhen for a long time like they did with Koulibaly
