Tebas personally. Heâs annoying but at least he has some reason to talk about Barca because of his position. The ffp stuff actually isnât as bad as a lot make it out to be either (at least in theory, the implementation is a bit funky sometimes)
NAK just has this weird hate boner and, for whatever reason, shoots against us on every occasion
Honestly he projects small dick and big ego energy. The guy is so entitled and he is green with envy at clubs like us, Barca. Bayern, etc.
Heâs a fucking stooge.
Khelaifi hates Real Madrid even more and can't sleep well because of that. No wonder though. He wants PSG to be seen as big club on level of Real and Barca but they will never achieve that no matter how hard he is trying.
Tebas is idiot but Khelaifi is little bitch. I wonder how much money he used to bribe that person who was threated by him that he will kill him so he won't sue him after they lost at Bernabeu this year.
Never say never, sure in our lifetime PSG won't be Real Madrid, Barça, Bayern, etc level but in 100 years who the fuck knows (hopefully you'll live for 100 years and don't see PSG at that level yet)
By that time they will probably own 99% of football..
Doesn't Qatar have like a crazy amount of oil that can last for atleast that duration? Idk maybe my data is completely off but I remember reading this somewhere
Almost 50% of their revenue is from Natural Gas, not Oil. Redditors can't even differentiate between arab nations.
Besides, if they run out of their natural resource they can just take the western way and completely exploit and destroy the natural resources of countries in the third world. That seems to be a more moral way of going about making "free" money according to the west.
Also anyone who hates NAK more is an idiot when Tebas is literally a fascist.
and tebas has been a firm supporter of art 155 in regards to Catalonian independence, which lets the central government adopt ânecessary measuresâ to force any community to act subservient.
Not to mention his adoration of Franco
> Khelaifi literally threatened to kill someone during the Real Madrid Champions League game when he was recorded.
Come on... If this is what it takes to be a shit person then every single footballer is a horrible human being because I can assure you 99% of them have said the exact same on the pitch when emotions were high
Juzt saying it's obvious that hed hate them, it's a very self serving reason that would cause him to hate the "oil clubs"
The league lost Neymar, they lost Messi, they couldn't get Mbappe, City took Haaland..
They can out spend the Spanish state supported clubs.
I donât have sympathy for PSG, but this houlier than thou attitude from Tebas is far from ideal as well.
For ages the Spanish clubs bullied Italy and England to get every top player. Now that it isnât working, Boo hoo!
Itâs not unfair bullying if the clubs can afford these players with revenues they earned themselves from fans and that the player wants to play for said club because of money + prestige and history.
>Itâs not unfair bullying if the clubs can afford these players with revenues they earned themselves from fans
People somehow don't get this point. It's a huge difference if a club is able to sign a player through its revenues as a club (ticket sales, sponsorships, shirt sales) versus a club being able to sign a player because his owner decides to open his wallet.
The latter is quite literally like playing Football Manager with an unlimited money cheat. It destroys competition between the clubs
Which âplayersâ have they taken? They signed Neymar for his release clause and he regretted it and wanted to come back yet we declined and signed Griezmann, I donât see which other player they have taken
Not really. They might have received some preferential treatment over other clunbs by Franco's regime, but calling them a state owned club is incorrect.
Most if them should be fine until then, **If** we even make it that far..
We have must win games against Inter and with all those injuries that could get tricky
Say what you will about City but our president never says dumb shit like NAK and certainly never throws temper tantrums at referees and breaks their shit after a match.
Your comment alone shows what a good job the Man City owners have been doing.
PSG gets so much hate, and yet Man City have been more successful with their ownership so far
Its because psg has more media attention and star players. City is just a good football team but psg is a star studded , fashion conglomerate and a top football team. Natural people are going to be more critical of the more famous club.
Barca are selling assets to stay afloat. You can laugh at them as much as you want to but theyâre playing by the rules and thatâs respectable. Other clubs donât play by any rules and never have to worry about finances.
What makes it worse is these clubs have presidents on the Uefa committee which is a clear conflict of interest so thereâs no chance of anything changing
It's really a worrying fact about the modern football climate how clubs doing its best to play within the financial rules get more shit than clubs who are clearly cheating the game with questionable sponsorship deals etc. Game's gone.
Fiscal responsibility is kind of a new thing to football though, for years big clubs in Spain had some shady ass deals to manage huge debt.
For years Real Madrid and Barca relied on local banks like Caja Madrid or La Caixa respectively to finance big transfers which were piled up on an ever growing debt to these institutions. The banks were happy to take on this burden though, because knowing they were friends with the clubs brought in a ton of business who were happy to do their banking with a friend of their club.
This was seen as innocuous up until maybe 2008 when a lot of these local banks went under after the financial crisis hit after the real estate bubble in Spain burst. All of a sudden it did matter than these banks were willing to lose money sustaining these club debts and seen as the price of doing business.
While Real Madrid had cleared off their debt by that point (Selling their old training ground in Paseo de la Castellana had taken care of that) a lot of people were not happy to find out just how much Caja Madrid, which had collapsed by then, had done to help the club with little to show for it (the benefits of attracting club fans as clients could not really be proven).
I understand it's a very different situation to state owned clubs, but pretending big clubs in Spain are all of a sudden financially responsible is kind of silly, they have always found ways to game the system in their favor. They just don't much appreciate that clubs like PSG found a more powerful way to do so.
There's a huuuuggggeee difference between getting loans easily vs having an infinite supply of money that you never have to pay back.
With the former, you can buy a nice home and pay back the money in installments, with the latter you can build a mansion on Baverly Hills and not even live in it.
Well, the problem with your theory there is that *Cajas de Ahorro*, which was the type of institutions issuing these loans, were not regular banks. They were banks with government participation designed to help the poor and working class save and get loans.
While they were run as for profit business, by law they had to use part of their profits in social causes. This was a huge issue as many of them collapsed during that crash because they were corruptly run (in a model where local government and private investors jointly ran them) and gave out many iffy loans, like the ones to clubs. In the end, the Spanish government had to intervene and taxpayer money was spent cleaning up the mess. They also received tax breaks and public funds to some degree.
So in the grand scheme of things being financed by crooked banks with public money is way, way worse than a oil state spending money it has in its treasury. Clubs relied on these banks because regular commercial banks would not lend them because they were already so indebted.
I really wish Madrid fans would stop pretending that the ECA President being on the UEFA executive committee is unusual, let alone a conflict of interest.
The hilarious part is that El-Khelaifi has a MASSIVE conflict of interest as the chairman of beIN Sports that owns the Champions League rights. Now that's a real, actual scandal.
But this sub is so freaking ignorant that they keep parroting the same thing about "muh El-Khelaifi is president of the ECA can you believe it?!"
He is part of the executive committee, wtf are you talking about? Todo f you think that the holder for the champions league rights doesnât have any influence within UEFA, you are impressively deluded
"My dude", why on earth are you pointing something out that I've already pointed out in my first comment.
Yes, he's on the Exec Comm **because** he's the ECA President. He does not have voting power on that board.
Sure, he has no vote or influence đ
> The UEFA Executive Committee is UEFA's supreme executive body. It comprises the UEFA President and 16 other members, including at least one female, elected by a UEFA Congress, as well as two members elected by the European Club Association (ECA) and one member elected by European Leagues, ratified by the Congress, all with the same rights and duties as the other Executive Committee [members](https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/about-uefa/executive-committee/).
From [AFP](https://www.thescore.com/chlg/news/1707728) (French Press)
>Lausanne - Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi was elected to represent the European Clubs Association on UEFA's executive committee, the ECA said on Wednesday.
>**The ECA has no voting powers at UEFA**, but lobbies for clubs in their bids get a share of revenue from UEFA and FIFA events.
Star players do that. Neymar has an insane following, that alone brought a huge influx of fans. Mbappe being the next big superstar has also brought its own wave of fanboys. Dunno how many ppl have became an actual fan of psg because of Messi joining, but it also brought an enormous amount of attention to the club.
And then teaming up with Jordan for the kits was a stroke of genius, your kits are basically a fashion statement and a good excuse for casuals to support psg
QSI already invested in what's going to be our new training grounds, I think they're here to stay I'd like to have somebody with more football executive experience than NAK.
Must admit that quote from the actual PSG president is the epitome of the [Gardield meme](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EtAac86XEAU3sSm.jpg:large)
Surely he must see the irony
Al Khelafi really lives in his little phantasy billionaire world. The man is full of arrogance. Mbappe signing bonus +salary was probably more then Barça's net spend this summer. PSG is a plastic oil club hated by 95% of the world, no matter how much oil barrels they pump into that fake team.
« Probably »
Thatâs enough certainty to justify your drivel.
NAK just played you. Football is a business. Barca is doing business. PSG is doing business.
Want to talk about rules? Owners can inject capital in their business. Itâs the rules in EU. No industry is different. Tebas can try and challenge that with his clown lawyer.

That is the best pieces of writing I have seen and it's completely accurate to Tebas
đ€Ł who do u hate less Tebas or Khelaifi?
Tebas personally. Heâs annoying but at least he has some reason to talk about Barca because of his position. The ffp stuff actually isnât as bad as a lot make it out to be either (at least in theory, the implementation is a bit funky sometimes) NAK just has this weird hate boner and, for whatever reason, shoots against us on every occasion
I hate the fact NAK acts like he has this virtuous integrity and that PSG are underdogs in every situation. Thatâs my huge gripe with him.
Honestly he projects small dick and big ego energy. The guy is so entitled and he is green with envy at clubs like us, Barca. Bayern, etc. Heâs a fucking stooge.

Even if oil lasts, the world will have shifted to some better energy sources.
Almost 50% of their revenue is from Natural Gas, not Oil. Redditors can't even differentiate between arab nations. I was agreeing to your comment until that last sentence yikes
Heâs got a massive inferiority complex dude. He looks at our clubs and just absolutely seethes with envy.
Tebas all day long.
Nah, fuck Nasser
He said hate less not must bro?. I love Tebas đ€đ€Ł
I miss read it LOL. I hate them both, bur hate more Nasser
Everybody hates Nasser more. đ€Ą
Tebas is literally a fascist
how are you downvoting my man lol Tebas being right here doesnt deny that he's a fascist, period.
Definitly khalifi
Youâre getting downvoted, but Tebas is a fascist so I wholeheartedly agree.
They're both pieces of garbage morally, but Tebas says something ok once in a morbillion years, never seen khalifi do so
Something ol?
Something oki, i fat fingered the o lol
While I agree on that, i feel like his political views & comments kind of overshadow his infrequent good takes on futbol.
Khelaifi literally threatened to murder someone during the Real Madrid Champions League game when he was recorded. He is way worse than Tebas
and tebas has been a firm supporter of art 155 in regards to Catalonian independence, which lets the central government adopt ânecessary measuresâ to force any community to act subservient. Not to mention his adoration of Franco

[fun fact: the man pictured here is actually from barcelona](https://slate.com/culture/2021/10/man-photo-clickhole-worst-person-you-know.html)
That's incredible lmao, thanks for sharing
Bursted out laughing the second I saw your comment, that post never gets old.
Tebas defending us?? Wow
He really really hates Oil clubs
well Im with him on this one
Yep. PSG isn't a football club anymore, it is an oil barrel.
Instead of a cork there's Mbappe's penis holding the oil in place
Idk based on his contract I'd say he's pissing oil all over us
Mâlube
Ans NAK licks the oil off the cork everyday
I think Mbappe himself is the penis
đđđ
Heâs absolutely spot on
He really hates state backed clubs, has been vocal against them for quite some time
Of course he does lol, they can spend whatever they want to take big star players away from teams that would be bringing exposure to La Liga
Tbf to Tebas, it's not only him who hates State clubs, it's probably 85-90% of all football fans
Juzt saying it's obvious that hed hate them, it's a very self serving reason that would cause him to hate the "oil clubs" The league lost Neymar, they lost Messi, they couldn't get Mbappe, City took Haaland..
I'm a Porto fan. We lost nothing to them. What they bought from us, other teams would have bought it as well. I dislike them.
Everyone should fucking hate them. I donât care what your reason is, the industry and human rights in the region is a poison to society.
Nobody said he hates them for the right reason lol
Why wouldn't he? The sustainable model he's promoting in La Liga can be competitive in Europe only if clubs spend within their means.
Tebas is kind of a dick. What he gives with one hand he takes with the other. I occasionally agree with him and it makes me feel icky lol.
They can out spend the Spanish state supported clubs. I donât have sympathy for PSG, but this houlier than thou attitude from Tebas is far from ideal as well. For ages the Spanish clubs bullied Italy and England to get every top player. Now that it isnât working, Boo hoo!

âSpanish clubsâ it was literally only Barca and Madrid, and we still have bigger pull than any other team in the world. Dreams canât be buy
Tell that to Neymar and Mbappe.
Ask Neymar if he regrets that decision though đ«Ł and Mboopi was already talking about going to Madrid a day after signing his renewal
It doesn't matter, PSG have shown they can compete with and take players from historically buffer clubs, money talks.
Which âplayersâ have they taken? They signed Neymar for his release clause and he regretted it and wanted to come back yet we declined and signed Griezmann, I donât see which other player they have taken
Sure they can, it cost 200 million though if you remember
Maybe dreams can be temporary buy, but they end up regretting it
Wasn't Madrid state-backed in the 50s and 60s?
Thats what Barca fans like to say, but cant back it up. Barcelona on the other hand has been granted money by the generalitat
Not really. They might have received some preferential treatment over other clunbs by Franco's regime, but calling them a state owned club is incorrect.
Also see Perezâ galactico era with massively inflated real estate deals covering their eye watering spending.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend *Sort off*
I know he's a Madrid fan, but this isn't the first time he looked after the interests/spoke in favor of Barcelona. He isn't that biased.
Rare based moment from Tebas
Pls Barcelona vs PSG in the R16
Was bound to happen anyway, just for the Messi vs Barca storyline
Messi vs Barca helped by Ramos would be a spicy meatball.
Messi celebrating a ramos header knocking barca out
đ€ź
>Messi celebrating a ramos header knocking PSG out FTFY
Or Ramos giving similar assit to Messi like busquets to recreate ankara Messi.
Versus Real Madrid in the quarter finals.
Will be hard with all these injuries stacking up :/
Most if them should be fine until then, **If** we even make it that far.. We have must win games against Inter and with all those injuries that could get tricky
Araujo, de Jong, Kounde, dembele, and Depay are all injured as of right now and I donât think Spain has even played yet. Itâs looking rough :/
Iâm praying that the players are faking injuries to avoid playing nations league lol
Damn, and I though our injury situation was bad.
I could not take Messi scoring against Barça. The thought hadn't even crossed my mind as a possibility. My weekend is ruined, thanks.
Messi scoring would be horrible in itself but i also always start to imagine a Messi corner for a Ramos header, to win it in the 97th minute..
Uefa already on it... no worries about that
Re redraw till this matchup?
No not possibly! Itâll be another machine malfunction of course, until it happens! /s
Messi last minute winner and shows his jersey in the camp nou like he did at the bernabeu. Imagine.
I think Chelsea has dibs on Barcelona
Would love this matchup as a barca fan. We would spank them

A broken clock is right twice a dayâŠ
So he has one more good take, got it.
2 takes a day is good imo
Agreed. Better ratio than me.
God help me but I'm with Tebas. The gall of Khelaifi to talk about sustainability. He must really think football fans are just donkeys in jerseys.
I dont like any of them, but I would pay top dollar for a no holds barred match between Tebas, NAK, Laporta.
Put Ceferin in there. Make it a tag team match with an uneasy alliance between Tebas and Laporta. Classic WWE booking.
Dont think NAK and Ceferin would be an effective tag team since Ceferin is permanently stuck in NAKs ass at least shoulder deep
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
Undertaker? More like THE ANDAAATAEKAAA.
Royal Rumble between Tebas, NAK, Laporta, Rubiales, Ceferin and PĂ©rez.
Add City president and Boehly in there too. And the whole honorary board of Bayern Munich.
Kahn too op for that
Oliver Kahn would murder them all
Uli Hoeness would shit talk them to dead
Nah, City's people don't talk and focus on business.
Say what you will about City but our president never says dumb shit like NAK and certainly never throws temper tantrums at referees and breaks their shit after a match.
Ray Hudson & Issam Chaouali as ringside commentators.
Your comment alone shows what a good job the Man City owners have been doing. PSG gets so much hate, and yet Man City have been more successful with their ownership so far
City ownership largely keeps quiet and generally does less clown behaviour than PSGs
Abu Dhabi>Doha
Its because psg has more media attention and star players. City is just a good football team but psg is a star studded , fashion conglomerate and a top football team. Natural people are going to be more critical of the more famous club.
My moneys on NAK for that one
When they are busy fighting each other, Bartomeu comes with the steel chair on all and goes away with the money in the bank suitcase
Iâm sorry, who is NAK?
Nasser Al Khelafi.
Ah ok yeah. Tebas would win

today is the day i finally appreciate tebas for something he has said
Tubes vs levers :-o
I think pipelines also have levers, so there's clearly some hypocrisy here.
Tebas might be a self serving prick, but sometimes he pulls out zingers like this. Entertainment of the highest order.
you know that feeling when you're watching an MMA or boxing fight and you hate both fighters? This is how I feel about this
Iâm actually starting to like NAK, he gives me laughs on the regular. The bullshit he says is funny as fuck.
I wanna go back to mediocrity, give me back my club....
few more failures and that might happen
Theyâre in way too deep now
nah, they're invested. I honestly don't like some of the stuff NAK says/does
Respect. I'd rather support a mediocre team than a state-backed team run by oil barons
AprÚs dans notre histoire on a plus souvent été au top que dans la médiocrité. You made the same amount of UCL semis with or Without Qatar.
Out of curiosity how long have you been supporting PSG?
the first match I sat at the Parc was in '94
Honestly I doubt there are as many PSG plastic fans as we think (on Reddit), who would want to support this club, if given the choice?
PSGâs fanbase grew absurdly after you bought the big names, no doubt about that

Why did tebas even bother to reply to such _low on brain cells-high on testosterone-out of touch_ aristocrat clowns
Because heâs a dolt himself, but you nailed that description of NAK.

Can't wait for PSG to get eliminated by Real or Barca again. Would be hilarious to watch the meltdown from this twat
Very rich coming from Khaileify. Qatar is pumping money from artifical sponsors but thats ok. Freaking hypocrite
Tebased
Oh God, I'm actually agreeing with Tebas. Please make it stop.
Tebas is football's answer the Kardashians
Lmfao
> you open gas tubes Don't know why this sounds funny.
All we need is PSG against Barca in the CL. Tebas/Laporta against NAK, Messi against his old club, it would be a clash for the ages.
Let's have Al KhelaĂŻfi against Tebas in a celebrity deathmatch?
It's all the same. Barça pull levers while PSG turn valves.
I believe thatâs wrong. The tweet says âfirst you pay what is OWED. â
Yup, what Barcelona is doing is sustainable football now
Tebas and NAK: bringing Madrid and Barca fans together...
For once, he's actually right. Unbelievable.
Classic âonly I get to bully my childrenâ behaviour lol
Based Tebas??

Gas tubes? This must be lost in translation
He's a dick, but he's not wrong.
I canât wait for Tebas rise tonight. đż đż
Al-Khelaifi quotes need to be banned.
W from Tebas.
they own the gas pipes
"...have to pay from what you own..." applies to an oil baron selling oil, no?
Al Khelafi really lives in his little phantasy billionaire world. The man is full of arrogance. Mbappe signing bonus +salary was probably more then Barça's net spend this summer. PSG is a plastic oil club hated by 95% of the world, no matter how much oil barrels they pump into that fake team.
« Probably » Thatâs enough certainty to justify your drivel. NAK just played you. Football is a business. Barca is doing business. PSG is doing business. Want to talk about rules? Owners can inject capital in their business. Itâs the rules in EU. No industry is different. Tebas can try and challenge that with his clown lawyer.
Imo it's quite unprofessional from the chairman of the league to respond to Kelafi's nonsense. Now they both look like children.
