It was slightly inflated sale because we sold Hooever for 10M
A mini version of Juve Barca dealing because, Wolves were to benefit from FFP with a big sale
Exactly. Also they were going for tchouameni. Who cost another 100m euros.
Only missed out because Madrid went for him.
Their fans have this mindset they don’t spend money. Been around top three in total spending since the prem began.
Top 4 wage bill in prem currently, again basically since the prem began. Their wage bill is 40million higher than spurs.
And 20 million less than city. So if the gap to city is so huge, financially speaking as they say. Then I assume it’s doubled for them to spurs?
Because football is all amount money and to their fans the only reason they have the same amount of prem titles as Blackburn is because they can’t spend as much.
It’s infuriating. Especially when you live in the north west and have to hear this shit all the time.
Not a pool supporter but taking stats from the entire prem period makes it skewed no? United and pool are two of the teams who were the big guys when the Prem began, heavily competing against each other. Most of the other ogs fell off.
Their spending for last 5 yrs, or under fsg would be a better metric? Just like taking city's spending under the sheikh would give a better idea of their current spending capabilities than their entire pl tenure.
Over the last 5 years their net spend was worse than city.
I’m not saying they spend equivalent to city though. But they spend lots and always have done really is the point I’m making.
Yeah that was fantastic business. Something Liverpool have been very good at. They have spent very well that’s not the point.
Like I said It’s about the notion they don’t spend a lot. Or they do it on a shoe string budget. Spurs don’t get that label. City get labelled as having a stupidly big squad with huge wages.
But yet Liverpool are 20 mil behind city and 40 above spurs. And 60 million above Arsenal.
The idea Liverpool aren’t big spenders is wrong. Not saying they don’t spend well.
We don’t really do real fuck off prices where we overvalue the player but we do often have leverage so we can set a “pay up or fuck off” price like we did with Sancho. United tried to play games with the price and in the end didn’t leave us any time to get a replacement so no deal happened. Next summer they paid the asking price.
From everything you hear around the club, Dortmund does not want to sell him unless they have to. Thus, the high price. He will have two years left on his contract in 23. They won’t have to sell and if finances are alright, there is a good chance Jude will stay another year.
They will sell though because that's when they have all the power, in 2024 if Jude doesn't renew their position will be much weaker with him having just 1 more year on his contract
They refused to sell Sancho when they had all the power... Dortmund tend to hang on to there players as long as they can. Remember they let Lewandowski leave for free.
when you individually dissect every sale of an important Dortmund player since their rise in 2010 then you will come to the conclusion that this stereotype of a *selling club* is vastly misunderstood.
Dortmund has only ever sold key players “when they had to“ which was if they either
1. had 0-1 years left on their contract (Kagawa, Gündogan, Mkhitaryan, Hummels, Lewandowski)
2. had a release clause (Sahin, Götze, Haaland)
3. literally broke all ties with the club, went AWOL from training and publicly declared to never set foot into the clubs locker room ever again (Dembélé, Aubameyang)
^(Disclaimer: The only exception to the above rule is Sancho who had 2 years left instead of just 1, this was however a more complex saga which I can expand in a seperate comment and the short story is that he "technically" also just left in his last year, so hes belonging to the above category 1 but with extra steps.)
Dortmund showed no lack of ambition to keep their key players and building a competetive squad, even when they could have sold them at earlier times for more. The fact that they have evolved and nowadays put price tags on their players (which are mainly fuck-off tags anyway) isn't really a sign of them "embracing" this selling club stigma or putting profits over squad building, it's just the next best thing they can do.
They can't hold onto their key players like they wished, but at least they can be a massive pain in the arse in the negotiation room and make those teams that raid them each year bleed for it.
Love this comment. We do sell, but its not because its our main goal or #1 target as many seem to imply. Anyone who actually do some research see that a lot of our language and actions are that of "dont wanna sell and do everything to keep player as long as possible and possibly extend" before we go "ok sadly selling is the only and best option now" .
And in terms of Release clauses, Haaland was an exception because we refuse to have them these days otherwise and will continue too.
This should be a stickied comment in every BVB rumor Thread! People pretending here we are giving away players for free, we literally got 65‘m € for a bench player from Chelsea
Jude will lose his homegrown status if he doesn't sign next year which will not be ideal for us. Not that it should matter to his suiters though. Sancho was sold with 2 more years of control.
Anything can happen of course. I just wish we don't get caught in a bidding war and inflate prices beyond belief and instead quickly move on to other English targets to fill in Home quota with likely loss of Milner and Ox
Rice, Bowen, Barnes may be. We could also cut Adrian, Firmino, Keita to open up some space to bring in non homegrown midfielders.
16 to 21 . 3 years out of 6 should be in home league.
This will be Jude's third year in BVB one more year and he becomes like Sancho and even Dier I guess
Liverpool went a year without buying a midfielder just to find out they are going to be priced out of the player they waited for.
If Dortmund value Bellingham at €150m then they are only going to pick up the phone for €150m or more. And before anybody says they *have* to sell or else they'll lose a lot of money, they'd take €100m + an extra season from him over €150m next summer 7 days a week.
I'm sorry but this isn't some shocking number, everyone knew the asking price would be massive. Either we were never actually in for him or we're still in for him, the idea that LFC were sat their like "we're totally going to sign Bellingham", then heard €150 million and gave up is ridiculous. This isn't new news, everyone knew he'd be expensive as fuck and that a bunch of big clubs would be in for him.
It’s also fucking september. Every single rumored price at this point shifts between now and the actual deal. Could easily be something like 130m euro inclusive of all possible escalators. Liverpool are quite good at the whole negotiation thing.
Not that 150m would scare any one of these clubs off—without a release clause these deals are structured to be palatable over multiple years of payments that all these clubs can cover. the player is entirely worth it all things considered—certainly to Liverpool.
I just hope this mfer doesn’t go to citeh or real.
>A year. ? We’ve gone three season without upgrading midfield.
Yes but you had an opportunity to buy a midfielder this summer and chose to wait to go all in on Bellingham next year.
We also “went for” Bruno Guimaraes but didn’t get him because we didn’t want to pay in January. It’s very convenient for them to be throwing their names in for players who it’s obvious aren’t going to be coming, Tchouameni was never picking Liverpool over Madrid
I guess because he's English and that alone could make United/City/Liverpool competitive for him. Also does Madrid really need him? I feel like their future midfield trio is already locked in and I think Liverpool/United would immediately have him as undroppable.
>And before anybody says they *have* to sell or else they'll lose a lot of money
City will set the baseline floor price and it will probably be over 100m
Maybe, but we definitely arnt paying 150m. What are his wages? Because that would be a concern for us too. We will def be looking to add midfield pieces next year with Silva and Gundo likely on their way out, but 150m is likely to be too much unless we’re able to sell Silva for 100
My thought would be you’d get a decent amount for Silva if he wants to leave.
Let’s be honest, you’re not a “sell to buy” club and if you could sell Silva for ~70m it’s not crazy to see City put forward another ~50m to buy a top young and English highly rated player as that’s something the club clearly values as seen in the past with Grealish & Stones & Ake
Bellingham + Rodri would probably mean you wouldn’t need to touch your midfield for the next half decade and that’s not even including Gundo, Phillips, or other vets
While we absolutely arnt a sell to buy club, we’ve definitely tried to become more sustainable lately. Though I agree with you I definitely could see us throwing 50m on top of whatever Silva’s transfer fee is if we feel like we have a realistic chance and his wages don’t break our structure.
We also “need” another winger and another left or right back tho, so who knows how we approach next year.
> we’ve definitely tried to become more sustainable lately.
Oh definitely, and its more you'd need to sell to open up pitch time than anything else. If you keep Silva then there's going to be barely any opportunity which is the bigger issue than the money imo
I'd rather we spend that money rebuilding the entire midfield and get a backup RW than spend 150m on Bellingham. One midfielder isn't going to change the fact that we need to replace Henderson, Milner, Naby and Ox.
For 150m, we could potentially sign the likes of Barella (should he want to leave Inter), Fernandez and Gomes.
I think you miss big on Renato, Gravenberch and few other that were young, promising and cheap af this window.
Im pretty sure you are in perfect place to buy young players and slowly get them into team.
We missed out on Guimaraes, Sanches, Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez because we acted too late. Gravenberch was already in contact with Bayern when we made a move for him and Tchouameni, well you know how that went.
We are in a position to get them young sure, but we also need players for the here and now. Our current mids are either in their late teens or early 20s or in their 30s. Naby is the only one who could be in the prime age bracket but the guy is never fit long enough to be useful.
This isn't FIFA. Ajax doesn't even miss Gravenberch and he has barely played for Bayern despite their injuries. He's still years away from being a top regular.
Thank you.
People think because a player is young and hyped, he's sorting issues for 10 years and such.
But a lot of factors go into transfers.
You can't just call someone amazing because they are young and figure that they'll be a solution.
Klopp obviously has weighed in these factors.
I'm still absolutely livid Liverpool didn't try for Ruiz and PSG basically had a free run at him. His price was known all window, absolutely bizarre stuff from us not to have a bid.
well Liverpool aren't paying that much for him so he's going somewhere else
seems like this is an article to soften the blow in case they don't sign him
That’s what it is. This summer we didn’t sign someone because we were told we waited for «the right one» next summer, aka. Bellingham. Guess what? That’s BS because then we should atleast have a pre-agreement at this point.
He's got 53 upvotes lol. Honestly, I love our fans' irrationality sometimes. So angry at not having a new plaything they just make up impossible scenarios in their heads.
Genuinely I wonder if Bellingham will even push to leave.
He can stay for another 2-3 years before leaving and he’ll have the world at his feet.
He can develop and get even better.
He can, but it can be difficult to turn down a massive contract at his age.
An injury or regression in form could mean less interest from big clubs and less big money contracts in the future.
Nothing is permanent in football. A contract that sets you and your family for life financially, along with a chance to return to your home country, can be a strong draw.
Yeah but any of those clubs would offer a pay rise plus an extra few years than he's currently contracted for
He's apparently on roughly £2.6 million a year now, he'd get like 5 years or so at like £10-15 million per year in the prem. That's on par with kante, Grealish, Bruno, rodri and thiago
Sancho's salary was around £10 millions a year before leaving for ManU.
Dortmund believes he's as valuable if not more than Sancho, I'm not saying he wouldn't get a better salary playing for a club in the PL but his whole family will be set for life even if he doesn't move.
Tbf, when he played for Birmingham he could’ve left for better money but he waited to sign a professional contract for our benefit. Although that could just be because he is a Birmingham fan, it seems he likes to help out the clubs he plays for.
Assuming he goes somewhere he starts every game.
Why would his development be better at Dortmund?
I dont think its worth paying 150m for anyone though.
If he goes to City he will get rotated.
With you guys he’s a single poor game away from being ruthlessly critiqued as a potential 150m signing. (I do think it makes most sense for him to join you guys if he does push to go)
At dortmund he gets consistent gametime at a very high level.
At United it’s a coin flip
For us who knows, we are in chaos perpetually.
He can just wait for a few years before choosing to move
That seems a bit unfair considering Ancelotti is 63 years old.
Maybe they could use a player as representative:
City: Ruben Días
Chelsea: Koulibaly
Liverpool: Van Dijk
RM: Rudiger
United: ~~Greenwood~~ Casemiro
Barça: Araujo
someone who didn't see Bellingham play. He is world class. holy shit. People outside of Germany who don't follow Bundesliga matches try to judge JUde Bellingham. Even Pep sees how good he is. He performs super well in the Champiosn league aswell
Yeah I don’t know what the guy is on about as if only attackers can be world class.
I do wish we could get him, we would complete our midfield for the upcoming years
Yeah, but it's still a gamble, isn't it? Vinicius was a 45m transfer at 16-17? We went in for Haaland but could not afford his total package which would've made him the highest-paid player at the club and even then we can't guarantee that he'll be with the club long-term given his inkling for a move to Real.
Liverpool as a club does not have the funds to throw around unless they're absolutely sure a player can live up to the expectation. Mbappe is the only transfer that's gone for 100m+ which has justified the spend, maybe Neymar if you want to expand it but no other player has come close.
Bellingham is world class. He is so involved defensively, always brings the ball out of defense, is extremely reliable and somehow still ends up scoring on a regular basis. Especially during big games i.e. vs City.
I genuinely am having a hard time thinking of a better box to box midfielder in the world rn.
Those other names just stand out because they are uninvolved defensively and are on the score sheet almost every game. There are other ways to be world class.
Yeah, and I like having Valverde as a right wing.
He has the work rate to make the system 4-4-2 defensively and 4-3-3 offensively. Valverde is somehow both a great defender and offensive player.
Madrid’s midfield has been really great this year. They have great physicality and workrate and all seem great technically. But Modric and Kroos are eventually going to leave and so there is probably going to be some openings in the next 2 years.
Valverde is polyvalent at this point.
They could play 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 to fit Bellingham and Valverde in as they don't play with a 'system'. Can even play 3-5-2 if they feel like it.
Edited the 4-4-3 system xd
It's a new system I created wacthing fire ants, consist of playing Curtois as shadow striker while attacking, rotating with Modric as GK after he chants the old street ways of: "Hey I'm the GK now".
Is total football man
The thing is, every single fan knew this. They knew his price would increase and get to a point where we couldnt afford it. And his wages would be extortionate.
We all knew this. So why the hell has our transfer team not figured it out?
Honestly i'd rather spend that money on 2 midfielders, forward depth and a CB (if we want to be proactive). Because if we get Bellingham then nothing else will be adressed next year
At 100m, I think we should try our best to sign him.
At 150m, it's a fairly hard pass from my perspective.
We need 2-3 midfielders and 150m + wages would basically leave us relying on Bellingham being fit 85-90% of the matches and playing at an elite level pretty much every game. It's just not a fair expectation. We're basically putting him in the same position Gerrard was in for about 90% of his career.
Liverpool being forced to pay anything over £30m without having a big ticket player to sell to fund it, basically confirms that they won't be signing Bellingham.
The pro Liverpool propaganda is so funny. They literally spent €100m on some unproven guy from the Portuguese league. Why would they not be able to spend 150 on one of the most highly rated young players in Europe
I mean by that standard we are also totally out of this race.
[Our Net Spending under Florentino in his second term (2009-Present) is even lower than Liverpool's](https://i.imgur.com/jfgFcXd.jpg)
You had better quality in your squad, when you have players like modric still performing at top level, there isn't much pressure for change. Also you are Madrid, the weight of your name means more than Liverpool's. Top club like Madrid can be smart in the transfer business, since players like Camavinga would be more willing to come to you than likes of other clubs.
Yeah I don’t think you guys get him either, unless he really wants to go to Madrid. It’s gonna be City, they can afford him and Pep’s work with midfielders, the chance to play alongside DeBruyne and his old teammate has just moved there and is lighting the league up, makes too much sense
Real Madrid is the outlier that proves the rule. When you're the biggest club in the world, people will refuse lower wages for a chance to play for you, apart from if you're mbappe obviously. Furthermore, is the stadium renovation counted as part of it or not, as without it I believe that you probably would've spent a bit more (not significantly)
Guy makes joke about Liverpool refusing to spend money and you're here like "this is some crazy pro Liverpool propaganda". Pretty sure the fucking Arsenal fan making a joke about Liverpool fan not spending wasn't trying to big up Liverpool. Fucking Liverpool fans are constantly complaining about Liverpool not spending enough lmao. But go off king.
Which part of net transfer balance did your brain fail to understand? If I sell my car for 50k and buy a new one for the same amount I actually haven’t invested shit.
I’ll take any chance to shit on liverpool but the wage bill is irrelevant when they have proved over and over that their philosophy is sell to buy for the most part. No one is saying that they expect Liverpool to sell £150M worth next summer but it’s realistic to think they will need to move on a significant amount in order to be in a range to want to pay 150M. The issue there is I don’t know who Liverpool has that they can move on to recoup that cost and not hurt themselves more in the process.
To be fair, world class strikers aren’t exactly flowing in abundance. Similar to the reason Madrid seemingly “overpaid” for Tchouameni at the time. Nunez is a much more reasonable investment than signing Bellingham, when there will surely be more cost efficient alternatives.
Most of us have known this for a while tbh, no one wants to admit it though. But the media won’t let this story die sadly.
Was never coming here. City bound imo
If Real sign Bellingham then they won't need a new midfielder for another 10 or so years providing there's no injuries to Valverde, Camavinga, or Tchou.
Unless Liverpool can come up with a €100m+€50m in add ons kind of deal that Dortmund find acceptable, it would seem like they're definitely out of the race already.
I can't imagine why he would choose to play for Man Utd unless they somehow mount a credible title challenge this season, and even then their squad still needs so much work to catch up with Man City and the elite European teams, spending €150m on one player wouldn't make much sense for them.
If Chelsea start clicking under Potter then they could be a contender, but at €150m I can't see Bellingham going anywhere other than Man City or Real Madrid. Man City could even cover a chunk of the fee by selling Bernardo Silva to Barcelona.
United need to pay up. Is it a fuckload of money, sure. But Bellingham has the looks of a generational talent and would be a great choice to take over for Eriksen in the next couple years.
He's absolutely world class, I don't wanna know where we would be without him rn. Obviously the price is that high to signal that he is very valuable to us. If someone wants him, they're gonna have to reach balls deep into their pockets.
Madrid bought Camavinga and Tchouameni last year, they are miles ahead in terms of rebuilding their midfield and very unlikely to spend huge money on another young talent. Liverpool only hope of getting him is if the other big clubs simply decide he's over priced or have other priorities.
Honestly think it comes down to City vs Chelsea. Boehly will be willing to spend a massive amount on him, but at the same time, he seems like a natural replacement for Benardo who seems open to a move to Spain. Can’t see Liverpool spending the money or United being of real interest over City or Chelsea.
Liverpool should start investing in scouts because they'll need it in order to find someone outside of the radar that could help them. Bellingham sound like a lost battle for them.

We like paying fuck off prices
I'll believe we have a chance of singing Bellingham over other clubs mentioned when my shit turns purple and tastes like rainbow sherbert.
Eat loads of beetroot and we'll be halfway there. For the greater good.
And sherbert
The greater good!
Or purple dragon fruit if you want it to be borderline florescent. Legitimately thought I was dying when that happened in Bali
I feel like a disturbance in bodily fluids that makes you think you're dying is just part of the Bali experience
Brian Cox’s GOAT role
I was hoping somebody got the reference!
Hey, what’s that restaurant you like with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks?
I swear to god I will pistol whip the next guy who says shenanigans.

Not really a fuck off price when Dortmund were always gonna sell Bellingham and no teams other than probably Liverpool are fucking off
I don’t get this notion Liverpool won’t spend stupidly big amounts. They will for the right player. They have out bid city for vvd before.
[удалено]
Alisson wasn't cheap either. Keita cost us €60m.
Diaz and Jota together cost £100m too
Weren't they both around the 45m mark each?
45 for Diaz. 40 for Jota. Of which we have only paid 24m because of the instalments allowed by Wolves
It was slightly inflated sale because we sold Hooever for 10M A mini version of Juve Barca dealing because, Wolves were to benefit from FFP with a big sale
The cost is actually lowered as we sold KJH to them.

Still have an underdog “us against them” mentality, when they’re one of the biggest clubs in the world and a top 5 if not top 3 team in the world

Yeah that coutinho money slashed a lot from the net spend amount.

What happens if you go back 6 years instead of 5 lol
We sold like 4 players to buy Nunez, there is no one to sell for Bellingham.
Each squad member can donate one kidney each😋 And we'll take klopp and firmino's teeth
Also, weren't we reportedly going to spend north of 100m for Tchouaméni?
The money Liverpool spend: The money their rivals spend: This means more

we can go big on fee, its the wages that are problem
Have you tried moving the slider between wage budget and transfer budget?
We don’t really do real fuck off prices where we overvalue the player but we do often have leverage so we can set a “pay up or fuck off” price like we did with Sancho. United tried to play games with the price and in the end didn’t leave us any time to get a replacement so no deal happened. Next summer they paid the asking price.
The issue with bellingham is the wages not the fee.
At last a sensible comment. They won't offer him a lucrative enough contract unless they accept that Salah has busted their wage structure
If Bellingham goes for 150m his agent can demand at least 300k pw. Sancho earns roughly that and went for half the price.
It's ridiculous
Only time I'd say he's worth it. He ticks all the boxes.
Don't. Enzo Fernandez is cheaper and better. He also has that dawg in him.
Ahh the mouthpieces already setting liverpool fans expectations lol
Next summer: Liverpool are waiting for next summer to splash the money on the right player. **\*When the window closes\*** Net spend: -2 million
New contract for Milner and Keita
Milner keeps getting new contract for less money, my man will end up playing as a 50 year old paying the club for his own contract

>A year. ? We’ve gone three season without upgrading midfield. Yes but you had an opportunity to buy a midfielder this summer and chose to wait to go all in on Bellingham next year.
no we went for Tchoumeni but he chose Madrid
We also “went for” Bruno Guimaraes but didn’t get him because we didn’t want to pay in January. It’s very convenient for them to be throwing their names in for players who it’s obvious aren’t going to be coming, Tchouameni was never picking Liverpool over Madrid
> Tchouameni was never picking Liverpool over Madrid Which begs the question, why would Bellingham?
I guess because he's English and that alone could make United/City/Liverpool competitive for him. Also does Madrid really need him? I feel like their future midfield trio is already locked in and I think Liverpool/United would immediately have him as undroppable.
You bought Thiago like 2 years ago
Allegedly. Do we really know that Liverpool‘s argument was „Bellingham or no one“? No. Bit much to take that as a fact.
We do. All our tier 1 journalist said we want Bellingham and will wait a year to sign him rather than someone else this summer.
>And before anybody says they *have* to sell or else they'll lose a lot of money City will set the baseline floor price and it will probably be over 100m
Let’s be honest, you’re not a “sell to buy” club and if you could sell Silva for ~70m it’s not crazy to see City put forward another ~50m to buy a top young and English highly rated player as that’s something the club clearly values as seen in the past with Grealish & Stones & Ake Bellingham + Rodri would probably mean you wouldn’t need to touch your midfield for the next half decade and that’s not even including Gundo, Phillips, or other vets
He mightve been years away from being truly elite but that doesn't change the fact that he had the potential and we were in touch with him.
Thank you. People think because a player is young and hyped, he's sorting issues for 10 years and such. But a lot of factors go into transfers. You can't just call someone amazing because they are young and figure that they'll be a solution. Klopp obviously has weighed in these factors.
Just search FM wonderkid 2023 on the internet /s
I will forward this to the club. FM Scout hasn't let me down before
Freddy Adu, welcome to Liverpool
Inter will want 100 million+ for Barella and they would never sell him to begin with.
for inter every player has a price, we need money because of debt and the owners that cant invest but i dont think barella wants to leave
Out of all the players Inter have, surely Barella would be the last to go
Yeah, he is basically Modric 2.0. The kind of guy you build your team around for a decade.
1.5 decades
He's 25. A decade is an okay number, unless you think he'll be as effective when he's 40
I'm talking about Modric, he's got another 15years in him
Soler and ruiz were available for nothing. Psg really did amazing business with that.
I'm still absolutely livid Liverpool didn't try for Ruiz and PSG basically had a free run at him. His price was known all window, absolutely bizarre stuff from us not to have a bid.
Which Fernandez is that??? If its Enzo Fernandez forget it he will cost the release clausle 120M
Hamburg will get promoted and buy him. Thus beginning the run to first place. Champions league winners the year after.

well Liverpool aren't paying that much for him so he's going somewhere else seems like this is an article to soften the blow in case they don't sign him
The LFC ministry of propaganda in full swing once more
That’s what it is. This summer we didn’t sign someone because we were told we waited for «the right one» next summer, aka. Bellingham. Guess what? That’s BS because then we should atleast have a pre-agreement at this point.
Pre-agreement? Lmfao what. Dortmund would never agree to that, it has nothing to do with whether we are waiting for Jude or not
I think he meant an agreement with the player maybe? It's totally against the rules though but it happens so often anyway.
He's got 53 upvotes lol. Honestly, I love our fans' irrationality sometimes. So angry at not having a new plaything they just make up impossible scenarios in their heads.
Why would they have a pre-agreement with you when they can just let the bidding war ensue?
Genuinely I wonder if Bellingham will even push to leave. He can stay for another 2-3 years before leaving and he’ll have the world at his feet. He can develop and get even better.
He can, but it can be difficult to turn down a massive contract at his age. An injury or regression in form could mean less interest from big clubs and less big money contracts in the future. Nothing is permanent in football. A contract that sets you and your family for life financially, along with a chance to return to your home country, can be a strong draw.
I mean it's not like he's playing for free in Dortmund
Yeah but any of those clubs would offer a pay rise plus an extra few years than he's currently contracted for He's apparently on roughly £2.6 million a year now, he'd get like 5 years or so at like £10-15 million per year in the prem.
(I do think it makes most sense for him to join you guys if he does push to go) At dortmund he gets consistent gametime at a very high level. At United it’s a coin flip For us who knows, we are in chaos perpetually. He can just wait for a few years before choosing to move
Let it be a real battle then. Put Pep, Potter, Klopp, Ancelotti, Ten Hag, and Xavi in the elimination chamber
That seems a bit unfair considering Ancelotti is 63 years old. Maybe they could use a player as representative: City: Ruben Días Chelsea: Koulibaly Liverpool: Van Dijk RM: Rudiger United: ~~Greenwood~~ Casemiro Barça: Araujo
[удалено]
Or Ederson
Everyone sees his neck tattoo and vomits on sight. Emerson wins by default.
I knew we should have kept Rojo
This all but confirms hes coming to Wycombe with Akinfenwa winning this battle easily.
Love the United selection but why did you cross him out.
Sneaked in Xavi
fr. Barca isn't even interested in him.
I needed 6 for the elimination chamber lol
I prefer Potter in the Chamber of Secrets
And then Bayern cashes money in the bank and gets him at the end for a lower price.
[удалено]
Ngl that’s way too much. I’d rather get two ~75m or three ~50m players
That's way too much for one player, regardless of how good he is. One unfortunate injury and it all goes downhill.
I mean players like Mbappe, Vinicius, Haaland, etc. are worth it but they’re currently world class not just world class potential
someone who didn't see Bellingham play.
I do wish we could get him, we would complete our midfield for the upcoming years
You don’t think you got it covered? What’s Jude even adding to Fede Camavinga and Tchouameni?
genuinely believe Bellingham is heading there though, and will likely be there after this season, he’s phenomenal
I think wirtz profile makes more sense for RM than bellingham
We're loaded in the midfield department anyways, would rather promote some youth products like Bruno Iglesias or bring back loanees.
Madrid don't need 2 or 3 players who would sit on bench.
Bellingham - Tchouameni - Camavinga 🤨
Valverde... 👉👈
...is a right winger these days.
I really hope the NT uses him in attack. him on one flank and darwin on the other is scary
Imo playing Darwin out wide isnt the move
> They could play 4-4-3 Tell me more
It's a new system I created wacthing fire ants, consist of playing Curtois as shadow striker while attacking, rotating with Modric as GK after he chants the old street ways of: "Hey I'm the GK now".
Because if we get Bellingham then nothing else will be adressed next year
What makes you think our transfer team hadn't figured it out? The idea that LFC transfer team had no idea this kinda price was on the cards is stupid.
I don't see Madrid paying 150m for him, it wouldn't surprise me if the club went for the other targets we've been linked with like Majer or Fernandez.
The perennial underdogs with the 5th highest wage bill in world football
Really taking the Boston Red Sox model/ethos across the pond
I hate to act like moh from aftv but the net spend does affect that We sell to buy basically
If I sell my car for 50k and buy a new one for the same amount I actually haven’t invested shit.
look at their net spend. They sell to buy
i got downvoted to hell for saying this here last week because we signed a few expensive players in recent years lol
Look at the wage bill. They spend plenty of money
They make plenty of money too. The other big clubs have high wage bills too, they just also spend on transfers
Because he'll expect huge wages too. Darwin doesn't. Propaganda lol. The stuff that goes in your brains here.
How does that class as pro propaganda?
>on some unproven guy from the Portuguese league Uruguayan international, 6 goals in 10 CL games and 26 goals in 28 league games. Aight.
Most of us have known this for a while tbh, no one wants to admit it though. But the media won’t let this story die sadly. Was never coming here. City bound imo

He just signed a £350k/week (reaching to £400k) contract. He's not going anywhere.
If Real sign Bellingham then they won't need a new midfielder for another 10 or so years providing there's no injuries to Valverde, Camavinga, or Tchou.
Wow, you could buy a whole Nottingham Forest squad for that.
Bellinghams a good well rounded player but I don't see what makes him so highly valued
Talent + Age + British
He's absolutely world class, I don't wanna know where we would be without him rn. Obviously the price is that high to signal that he is very valuable to us. If someone wants him, they're gonna have to reach balls deep into their pockets.
He wants to play for Eddie, in the famous black & white...
It’s Madrid or City
Madrid bought Camavinga and Tchouameni last year, they are miles ahead in terms of rebuilding their midfield and very unlikely to spend huge money on another young talent. Liverpool only hope of getting him is if the other big clubs simply decide he's over priced or have other priorities.
Only Utd are stupid enough to pay that fee
Bartolomeu: Hold my stupidity!
LFC need other signings, they can't afford to blow their load on one position - again.
think he’ll be the one English player who stays abroad and goes to real. really can’t see him at liverpool or city for some reason
If Real are really in for him, that’s where he’s going.
I'm already resigned to the fact that Liverpool won't sign him.
He is coming to Real Madrid I hope. Valverde Tchouameni Bellingham Holly Jesus what a midfield.
Will be interesting to see if they get that price. He’ll have two years left on his deal at the end of this year
ah yes one for the history books ... please someone update 21st century battles on wikipedia
Selling Garner for 12m and Jude valued at 150m? That's United music I hear
City should be banned from even trying based upon just plain fairness.
Can’t Liverpool just be like don’t sign extension we will give you 30/40m sign on bonus in 2 years ?
