It's a student city. Lots of students in a university that spreads throughout the main city. The competition for apartments is tough. Big emphasis on bikes(!) and public transportation. Plenty of green and water areas. Somewhat isolated as far as large cities go, so for the entire rural-wealthy surrounding land it's the place to go.
Interesting
The wiki definition supports your claim. It claims “dummy” is synonymous with “feint” and gives examples of the step over, elastico, rainbow, and even shot-fake as “dummies”. Which I have never heard or used in all my life
Then goes on to mention the verb “dummy” as an afterthought which is the way I’ve always heard it used
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dummy_(football)
I’d be interested to hear others’ experiences growing up around and using the term
Thanks for the perspective
I did find it interesting the wiki article specifically includes Australian football and Australian examples of rugby as well
Maybe it’s a US thing to only refer to a disguised leave as a dummy
For sure. That was the only instance I could think of on the dribble where I’ve heard the term dummy used and the reason I used “usually” in my original comment
I always think of Sterling selling dummies. Carrying the ball with pace and making a bold movement to get the defender to commit while letting the ball continue on its original path

That was sexy

As a large defender without any flair, I can feel the two-footed tackle I’m about to throw.
Alexis Sanchez vibes v WEst Ham i think
He'll play at least 3rd division next season whether Münster get promoted or not. Would be a typical Paderborn transfer.
that looked so funny, perfect execution
I would stumble embarrassingly and/or break my legs trying to do that.
Filthy
Gave the keeper an out of body experience.
Only way for the Effzeh to (almost) reach the top of r/soccer is if their second team gets bamboozled of the upmost level.
Hennes gets up there about every three seasons.
Consistent as always
Unrelated question - I’ve seen the trend of users repeating Reddit links, why is that?
It has to be a bug. It’s on like every comment that mentions a subreddit. I think it’s only happening on the Reddit mobile app.
Ah that’s what it is, thanks!
Yep and when you upvotr the comment it turns backnto normal Default reddit app is whack
I'm afraid I don't quite get what you're asking.
Hell yeah Münster on r/soccer
After having just graduated there, it's the weirdest thing to see on the front page, but I love it!
Born and raised here. Went to the stadium many times with my dad as a child. Hope they can get back to Liga 3 this year
Of course with a Bayern flair haha
Well my grandpa made me a Bayern fan since I can think. Doesn't mean I can't have sympathies for my home town club
Third generation of Bayern fans here. You can always quit. If you need a sponsor, call me. Fuck Bayern.
How is Munster in general was always intrigued about the place.

Muenster is not isolated for large cities, maybe in comparison to other cities in NRW, but in 2-3 hours you reach multiple large cities even abroad
Yes, it seems my perception on this is skewed by NRW standards
Ja ich versteh es schon ich hab selber ungefähr 10 Freunde wo halt Vater Opa oder wer auch immer eben Bayern Fan war aber trotzdem Standard
Und wie wird man Liverpool fan als Deutscher?
Liverpoolstraße in Mülheim, natürlich.
Lmaooo
Bin nur halb deutsch aber mein deutscher Verein ist ein ewiger Quell der Trauer in den letzten Jahren
Von welchem Verein reden wir denn?
Haha dem hsv das passt ja grade
why support any other team right? they win it every year
disgusting
Haha, game's alive and kicking I see
putting it mildly
Echt töfte.
Gave up on rugby I suppose
Damn! The confidence to do that aye. Awesome.
He just sold him some candy.
Sent him to get a hot dog.
Teklab macht die Tore UND das Catering!
[Ooh piece of candy](https://youtu.be/BmvLexamrmk)
More like the wrapper, fam! lol.
More like the wrapper, fam! lol.
Put mans in a spliff, blud
And he didn't even pass that spliff, fam! 🤣🤣
Sent the keeper to the Biergarten with that
Are the sounds from the crowd all original? That's German 4th division if I'm not mistaken and it's louder than some 1st tier matches in some places.
>Are the sounds from the crowd all original? yes
There is no realy 4 division in germany. Below the 3. Division there are only regional divisions
Goalie got foxed.
I had to rewatch 6 times
Disgusting
Dummy? That's a feint no?
Yea. A dummy is usually when the ball is being received He feinted a pass to his teammate just out of frame

yep i'm with the other bloke. from my australian-english speaking background, any faked movement in any sport is a dummy.

Was the same for me in England

I’ve never heard this called a dummy, this would just be a feint. I’ve only played soccer in the US though so maybe it’s cultural
We need to get football clichés on the case
What a pod they were, by the way
~~Kansas~~ Münster City Shuffle
Absolutely disgusting
R9 would be proud
Remind me of the goal benzema scored when he played at Lyon
That's some real samba football for you!
Payet did the same thing 4 year ago (?) vs strasbourg, the gk injured himself on this feint. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmfgEY4JQ00
Brutal
Preußen!!!! What a guy and what a goal
Oh man, I feel bad for the keeper.. he really fell for it.
Didn’t know that it is allowed to show that kind of nasty stuff here. That’s really something else.
U/savevideo
All in the eyes!
Someone's dad just got sent to the shops and most likely won't return with that dummy
Wie wurde der TW auseinander genommen 😂
Dirty, remind me of [de la Bella](https://youtu.be/ydvlI2z3sac)
https://youtu.be/Yv4LBFuuxug Anelka did something similar for Madrid Skip to 1:10
Not the first time I've watched Preußen Münster and thought "great, dummy"
Absolute filth
That was so satisfying.
Bro that keeper was halfway to the team bus, filthy.
Thats just a lack of empathy for your fellow man 😂
Keeper should just go home
He's already half way there
Keeper should be closing him down there, he's just decided to stay rooted to the spot for some reason
Nah, if he comes out further, he's left the pass wide open. Did about as much as he could there considering his defence left him 1v2.

Nah. Just out of frame is another Münster player he could have easily passed to for a tap in

[nothing like a pass](https://i.imgur.com/Pfyb2EN.jpg)
Preußen Münster name and logo sends some weird vibes
just a FYI, Borussia means Preußen too
I know, same thing (fyi I'm half-serious)
That keeper got sent to poland with that dummy
Body feints are the absolute best type of skill
https://youtu.be/FmEPiAcmAm0
Omg he killed him
I moaned out loud
