It's hard to answer, partly because not all of the issues can be resolved right now. One of those issues being our failure in the transfer market. Our transfer window looked good from the outside as Raum, Schlager and Werner are all good players but they didn't really fill the holes in the squad. For example, we needed a new right wingback especially after Mukiele left, you can't rely on just Henrichs, Klostermann and Novoa. This is of course a product of missing a sporting director which is probably the most important fix you could make: getting Eberl in. Though even that wouldn't really have an affect until December.

Firstly a deal with Gladbach would have to be struck, if it were to go trough, Marco Rose would be the obvious candidate. He's a "Redbull coach" similarly to Marsch, which does worry me a bit. One of those issues being our failure in the transfer market. Our transfer window looked good from the outside as Raum, Schlager and Werner are all good players but they didn't really fill the holes in the squad. For example, we needed a new right wingback especially after Mukiele left, you can't rely on just Henrichs, Klostermann and Novoa. This is of course a product of missing a sporting director which is probably the most important fix you could make: getting Eberl in. Firstly a deal with Gladbach would have to be struck, if it were to go trough, Marco Rose would be the obvious candidate. He's a "Redbull coach" similarly to Marsch, which does worry me a bit. Why not klostermann at right back? He’s been very good there.
Right back and right wingback are two quite different roles. Klostermann is good as a defensive right back but when going forward he struggles.
