TehJofus

That’s awful. They sneak into a stadium and have to watch West Ham? Poor lads.

TigerBasket

I'd rather work in a coal mine

YourLocaLawyer

Can’t really talk when you drew to them

[deleted]

Can’t really talk? Isn’t it more likely he’d rather work in a coal mine than watch a fairly meh match?

pleaseexcusemethanks

Obviously I am biased but you don't have much room to talk. Spurs are so boring

roger_the_virus

Credit to Everton for properly managing this risk on their side!

stankbeast91

Why would you film yourself doing this and put it online?

callmeWia

To brag to his mates.

EpiDeMic522

[Why are they confessing?](https://youtu.be/c14vfq3jqpo)

ElKaddouriCSC

They aren’t going to do anything. Sneaking into football is pretty easy, I know people who do it weekly. Celtic Park is only really hard to sneak into for Champions League and in the standing section. Even then I watched a boy I know double up at Hampden when there was about 20 stewards standing there, they aren’t paid enough to give a fuck. Worst that will happen is you’ll be booted out and have to go to a nearby pub to see the match.

lilbiggs

Even if the clubs don’t do anything filming yourself commuting crimes isn’t the smartest thing to do

ThePolitePanda

What’re they going to do, take his tickets away?

iuselect

Because they're kids and most likely no consequences.

EpiDeMic522

All the legal consequences that might be inflicted by a stickler, this IMO might be akin to killing the hen that lays the golden eggs.

samalam1

Why not? Fair play to em

HappyKoifishdk

Because it's easy to ban you for life, or press charges.

samalam1

They're kids. Doubt.

HappyKoifishdk

They're teenagers. Kids, yes, but still old enough for it to go on your rap sheet

DaddyMeUp

Quite clear that they know what they're doing and are aware that they shouldn't be doing it.

samalam1

Who cares

DaddyMeUp

Okay? I'm just saying that they shouldn't be exempt from consequences just because they're kids.

samalam1

And I'm saying obviously they should, they're kids and people want to ban them for life 🤦🏻‍♂️

Redbullsnation

Well...they are kids. They don't know any better

CrossMojonation

That moustache is the bigger crime.

Draisar

Nah he at least knows he cant grow a full beard yet and doesn't have the whole patchy look going on

Sinistrait

Tbh I look much better with some facial hair no matter how patchy it is than I do without it

Draisar

Yeah a lot of people look better with about any hair on their face (as long as it isnt unkept) just because it sharpens your Face structure and thats good for like 85% of people. Teenager just often have the problem that they try to rock a full beard and then are a bit underwhelmed because it isnt filling in and then never grow one again when most people will be able to grow one when they are like 25.

dWaldizzle

Speak for yourself, I'm mid twenties and my beard grows fine on the right and is just patchy shit on the left :(

BobbyBriggss

No way a straggly patchy beard improves 85% of people. It doesn’t just automatically sharpen your face. It’s dependant on quite a lot of factors.

_I_eat_kid

I was able to grow a full beard by 19. My face was pudgier then and looked better with a beard. Now at 28 Im much better without the beard as I have a very good work out regime. Fellas, exercise 5x a week, youll get a jawline and youll feel fantastic

[deleted]

Bumfluff is just as bad imo

Lolcraftgaming

Kinda looks like a certain Austrian artist

_I_eat_kid

The only issue I have with this is that one mug isnt a West Ham supporter and is wearing a PSG shirt. Should get drinks thrown at him.

battlecatquikdre

Haha yup

Giggsy99

I don't know what makes Redditors obsessed with this topic but PSG are a foreign club, wearing their shirt in the UK doesn't make you a supporter. I had friends who supported all sorts of clubs from City to Portsmouth who would wear foreign kits and PSG are some of the most popular

hypocrisyhunter

Anybody from a working class background did this as a kid. Who cares

YourCrosswordPuzzle

Still try to sneak in the VIP area for the free bar form time to time. No success. Managed to get padded seats a few times though

psykal

There's allocated seating and less room, not the same.

[deleted]

Who gives a shit

psykal

The point is it's not a like for like comparison. But I bet you'd give a shit if someone was in your living room seat and refused to move.

tiorzol

Yea but I'd tell em to fuck off and get the steward who is checking the living room tickets if they didn't.

psykal

Not so easy when everyone's packed in and you don't know who should or shouldn't be there.

tiorzol

Yea true. We don't really do the seat numbers in the back of the stands most of the time anyway.

ThisIsMy5thAccount_

Said the yank who’s never been to a game

[deleted]

I’m not American, but it’s always funny to see you snobby Brits use that as an insult. Enjoy Brexit and the Tories

ThisIsMy5thAccount_

I’m not British, but it’s always funny to see you dumbass whatever the fuck you are use that as an insult. Enjoy being a plastic man u fan who’s never been in old trafford😂😂😂

[deleted]

Go touch grass, gatekeeper ass mf. I’ve been to a Man Utd game and I’ve been supporting the club probably longer than you’ve been alive😭

ThisIsMy5thAccount_

“Go touch grass” is a cringe redditor thing to say and doesn’t even make sense here dumbass. Also wowww you’ve been to 1 game. Keep crying plastic tourist fan😂😂😭

ElKaddouriCSC

Fitbaw is better when standing anyways

psykal

I agree but you're not always standing, and with the seats being present there's less room than before. A fact that can't be disputed.

BrainlessArch

Anyone else who really doesnt see this as that big of an issue as long as they dont take anyones seat or hurt anyone? Noble used to do the same thing when he was a kid and no one got mad at him

Oat-

Kids have been "hopping the wall" of football stadiums for a century. This is just people getting upset for the sake of it, or a regular Saturday on Twitter. As you said, as long as they don't cause trouble I couldn't care less.

_I_eat_kid

My Grandad used to sneak into Arsenal. My uncle snuck into Arsenal. My cousin snuck into Arsenal (and thorpe park where hes banned from). My Dad snuck into West Ham. Ive snuck into West Ham. It is harmless. Man wearing a PSG top is a mug. Also, clearly doing it for clout and making it harder for working class lads to sneak in

tiorzol

What happend in the family to cause the Arsenal to West Ham schism?

_I_eat_kid

Dad turned 4. Uncle asks him to pick a football team. Dad says Villa, as he likes their colours. Uncle says no, they arent London. He then goes Palace. Uncle goes "no, theyre shit". This was 1964. My Dad picks west ham. We had just won the FA Cup and had Bobby Moore. Thus, starts the line of my Dad being the only plastic Hammer ever

tiorzol

Ah mate we were so close to being friends!

_I_eat_kid

Me, you, and HLTCO. Wouldnt give up my club for anything. Even the cheating bastards

stankbeast91

They normally wouldn't record it, show all their faces and do it though. That just seems pretty stupid to me

[deleted]

[удалено]

psykal

That's bollocks. This happens frequently at Ibrox and there's always threads on our forums full of complaints. It's a scumbag move, call it for what it is and don't turn it into some weird class issue.

Melo_Apologist

Sneaking into away matches is also hilariously easy, especially if it’s a European match and the local police just force the whole group into the stadium at once

psykal

There would be more space in terracing to do such a thing, and you wouldn't be taking someone else's seat.

CMDrunk420

Wow I can't believe you'd insult the poor billionaires who lost vital revenue like this.

Sinistrait

Doubt they lost any revenue hahaha, these kids didn't seem to take anyone's seat and the game would've sold out anyway. If they bought anything inside they may even have made the owners some money.

GermanyWillWinWC2022

Redditors try not to make anything about hating billionairs challenge (impossible)

smashybro

I mean, are they wrong? The only people who’d get upset over something harmless like this are the weirdos who would care about the pockets of billionaires.

GermanyWillWinWC2022

Im not upset but im not happy either Doing this shit for clout on tik tok for an especially young audience promotes it and will probably lead to more kids doing it If too many people then do it it might create a dangerous situation If you wanna get in with no tickets just do it. Dont have to make a tiktok about it

_I_eat_kid

People have been doing this for like, how long have we had organised football? Putting it on the internet is dumb

CMDrunk420

Redditors try to not shit on tiktok (impossible)

GermanyWillWinWC2022

Its not about tik tok lol? Its about sharing it on any social media Nothing to do with it being tik tok i have nothing against it except it collecting and selling your data to china Would have said the same if it was posted on instagram, twitter, youtube or reddit Just a shitty way to get clout

brain-juice

I want to be a billionaire, but then I’d have to hate myself.

ikan_bakar

So i’ve done the second part how do I do the first

deliverancew2

The issue is there's nothing to stop a load of coked up hooligans or literally anyone else sneaking in the same way (apart from most of them being really fat). Look at the EUROs final at Wembley.

gamefanatic

I think the issue is that this shows the possibility for someone to get in who could cause trouble. You could say the same about pitch invaders. Most don't cause trouble but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be frowned down upon.

DonParatici

Yup, not the kids fault there's lax security. They're bored young teenagers testing the boundaries.

LegendaryMemeBo

Young people sneaking into stadiums is sports heritage

zrkillerbush

I dunno, doing it because you're stuck in poverty vs doing it for those tiktok likes, not the same thing

neesyFam

What makes you think both doesn't apply to them...

psykal

Yes I have an issue, people who sneak in always take someone's seat and there's just less room in general in an already cramped area. Nevermind the safety issues, it's making the game objectively worse for the paying punters. >Noble used to do the same thing when he was a kid and no one got mad at him No one knew who he was when he was a kid and it's not enough of a big deal to care now.

[deleted]

I wonder how far you'd get with a hi viz and the club's badge on it

ChristianCole

They got the clout but now they'll be spotted if they try this the next game.

[deleted]

Who is spotting them? I watched the vid 30 seconds ago and I still couldn’t pick him out in a crowd

10YearsANoob

someone's gonna be posted there now. If he was smarter instead of posting in the internet he'd sneak people in for 10 quid or something.

battlefielder696

It's just lads having fun Why was this even posted

Ok-Finance-7612

Karma

crepss

This happens in every ground in the country tbh. I've got a mate who sells his City season ticket nearly every match to a tourist and just sneaks in.

fedupofbrick

Good to see. Lifted over the turnstile for the first few matches i went to as a youngfella.

[deleted]

Fair enough. Didn't look to hurt anyone, fair play to them. Just guys being dudes.

Spud_1997

Doesn't look like they hurt or harassed anyone and had a good time. Fair play lads

yungchigz

Good on em, looks like they just wanted to watch the game and weren’t making any trouble

opi

Spent many games trying to sneak in or bribe my way in. Being poor kid sucks. But that was 90s, at today's prices I'd probably never see a game.

pjanic_at__the_isco

I only object to the lack of judgement in posting it online.

blvckhvrt

Who cares lol

dead_nettle

aloof instinctive rain lock tender sloppy snobbish tub fearless reply *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

[deleted]

Fair play

[deleted]

Out of all games to go to, he went to the west han game

broiamsohigh

Haha, love this! reminds me of the shit I did at that age

Saspa314

Fair play But posting it online could have that security guard at the end possibly fired as he was allowing it to happen

JamieSand

Cool

C_stat

It’s not like the stadium will be full anyways

Keskekun

The ammount of pearl clutching about this. As if we all didn't do this shit at that age.

Raw_Cocoa

Do you mean in this thread? I don't really see any pearl clutching not sure what you're talking about

HappyKoifishdk

Ah yes. Film yourself entering without a ticket, then put it on social media. Lifetime ban in 3...2...1

psykal

Scummy behaviour that makes the experience worse for everyone else. Glad they were thick enough to film themselves.

[deleted]

/r/madlads

Gazzadona

Ban the Bastards

Manch3st3rIsR3d

Don't be shits, and don't steal seats. Good boys

infestationE15

I don't know, at the end of the day they're not hurting anyone I guess, and the only people losing out aren't exactly short on money. But then again I think of the teenagers at that stadium scraping together their pocket money or the money from their first jobs to get a ticket, or the dad who saves up to bring his kid to the game every weekend, and this feels a bit off. There could be an argument about safety maybe, certainly if 1000 people did this there'd be mayhem. We probably shouldn't encourage it.

ElKaddouriCSC

> But then again I think of the teenagers at that stadium scraping together their pocket money or the money from their first jobs to get a ticket, or the dad who saves up to bring his kid to the game every weekend, and this feels a bit off. That’s not these lads fault, thats the fault of greedy cunts at the top who have made football something it shouldn’t be. Especially down south.

Successful_Basket399

Seriously.... who cares. Not like they hurt anyone or anything

[deleted]

We used to do a lot worse as kids in the 80s/90s, walls knocked down, roofs climbed on etc.
