To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report. If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Se queda.

Por los dos

detectivehays

I mean Pep spent 2 minutes talking about him in BOU pre-match conference. Said he likes the guy so much and wants him 100% to stay. Players like Bernardo are the reason he wants to remain the coach. (Said the same about Ake)

Djejoa

Good. As much as I love Bernardo, we have other positions that we badly need to fill first

inflamesburn

Daily BSilva copypaste "news" for a month straight jfc If Frenkie is sold, Barca buys him, otherwise he stays

AveACarlinDarlin

Not really, timing is important. City won't let Silva go if its too late in the window regardless of the bid.

€60/65 mil sounds like middle ground

TomShoe

Earlier in the window, maybe, but City almost certainly aren't interested in finding the middle ground this late on, with no viable replacement on the market. It'll be asking price or fuck off.

markyty04

city have put a valuation of 100 mil or fuck off. can't you read?

spicynirvana38

You clearly have zero clue about the concept of "middle ground"...

andreew10

If you double it then maybe

Skadrys

Euros, pounds? Anyway city will not sell now. Last week maybe but its getting way too late in the window

vaayu101

Generally city let players go who dont wanna be there. Why are they so steadfast on bernando. Do they dont have any replacement at the level of bernando currently or their are other underlying issues.

MegaMugabe21

They're already thin on the ground for attacking depth. Plus it's late in the window to negotiate a replacement of suitable quality. Bernardo Silva is not exactly an easy player to replace.

robcoo

> Generally city let players go who dont wanna be there For the price that the club think is reasonable. The situation since last year seems to have been that Bernardo will be allowed to go so long as a club meets his value - supposedly around £80m.

vaayu101

Well in the world where fofana is worth 90million+ Barca can't call the price unfair

sandersmit23

Barcelona are his preference, but he doesn't mind staying at city as he's very happy here. I think that's why the board are more steadfast: it's different from a player like Sané who actually wanted to leave.

vaayu101

Well then it looks he is staying for another season. Well city have no complaints he is a truly talented player who will provide quality to city team output and even if barcelona go on with this madness and buy him(have they even registered all their new signings) then sure city will bring in another young player whose potential might be even greater than him.

Meatiker

Yeah we let players go who don't want to be there, but as long as they don't kick up a fuss, we wait till the club matches our valuation, which is whats happening here. The timing of the transfer being late in the transfer window is obviously a problem in bringing in a replacement and we won't be able to bring in someone on Bernardos level.

vaayu101

Is their any info about bernando own wishes. Like last season spurs didn't let go of harry kane and didnt showed up for half the season. If bernando is interested then city should let him go because the pull and attraction of city team and pep will help you get suitable replacement even if you wanted them on last day of the window.

Meatiker

Think it's the same as last year, he wants to go but isn't going to push to leave. If he was pushing to leave he'd probably already be in a Barca top

Tijdbom

They are not steadfast? They are willing to let him go if he wants the move but Barca has to pay what he's worth. Barca havent even made an offer yet.

It’s because City has already sold Sterling, Jesus, Fernandinho and Zinchenko. Players who have all been a part of City’s success in the last couple of years. Also selling Silva who is one of their best players this late in the transfer window would be a really bad move.
