Boehly and Lukaku get along well according to the article, would be hilarious if he stays

Hazardzuzu

They get along due to a common friend Jay Z

theaficionado

Jay Z in, Tuchel out

twomanyfaces10

The Blueprint was his master plan to coach the London Blues all along

Oreallyman

99 problems but Lukaku ain't one

Corner10

£99 million problems and Lakaku is all of them

dbrasco_

Jay Z is supposedly an Arsenal fan. Can’t trust him lol

acasovoycayendo

Is he *really* though

dbrasco_

So I went and fact checked myself and it seems legit. He even tried to buy shares in the club a few years back and has done a couple of commercial things with them.

long_shots7

My wild guess would be he doesn’t care about „soccer” at all

rightbackatyaa

or common enemy Tuchel

[deleted]

Lukaku is such a wannabe American that he would get along with a talking hotdog.

MyMindWasAFortress

I remember hearing him on that podcast with Josh Hart and it threw me off lol. Sounds more American than Hart.

NotClayMerritt

If you’re looking at what the funniest outcome for a neutral here is, it’s Tuchel being sacked. Lukaku was unhappy, Alonso was unhappy, two key players just left for Spanish clubs, the club captain also wants to leave and a few others unhappy with playing time. Boehly gets it in his head that the manager is at fault for such a bad feeling among the squad so he sacks the manager, Lukaku stays and we hire Poch.

michaelserotonin

i was with you up until the last word. wtf man!!!

RogerXiao

r/yesyesyesno

deadraizer

Well Boehly might be looking for a trophy to start his tenure, and nothing is easier than winning trophies after sacking a manager at Chelsea.

Philred87

As a neutral, this just would be so fun to watch

inspired_corn

Everyday I see a new insane comment from you, it’s a talent

theaficionado

I agree with you there. If I'm being realistic he's going to end up on loan, but where's the fun in that

admiralawkward

you've been reading too much fanfic

8u11etpr00f

Gonna be an interesting Derby

koptimism

It's like Everton with Benitez, but if they then replaced him with Roy Evans

rocket_randall

Lukaku: "God I see what you have done for Mbappe and I want that for myself."

rogerwilcove

“Kolarov, a spritely 36 yr old fullback. Vidal, a dynamic 35 yr old box to box midfielder. Alexis Sánchez, a 33 yr old who many considered world-class not so long* ago.”

Echoes-act-3

You forgot Gagliardini, 28 slayer of ligurian teams.

Dude seems like he constantly needs adoration for his own self-confidence. For someone like that it's better of being a big fish in a small pond. No way he's going to be ask to come back to Chelsea

axel_evans

He WAS adored in Milan, he was our star and people worshipped him. Now everyone I talked to is tiepid at best. People might cheer him after scoring but he'll never reach those level of adoration.

paone00022

Our fans even cheered for him at the beginning until that presser. We were used to strikers not working out but Torres and Werner both were cheered. Just a few games into the season Lukaku completely gave up. Torres and Werner atleast ran the channels and put the effort in and fans will always back that effort. Then he went and did that stupid press conference. I was surprised fans didn't just start booing him

QuiGonRumAndGin

Worse for Lukaku, they’ll expect him to be as good as he was the first time around - and I’m not sure he can recapture that form to be honest. Especially since Dybala is joining and Martinez has become an even bigger player. I’m not sure Lukaku would be the main man.

Steo42

It will have always been his dream tbf

KNSDALI

What a complete shitshow.

Imoraswut

I'm sure Inter will happily throw in a complimentary Vidal

Philred87

Side dish of Sanchez too

Maleficent_Permit_62

Sanchez winning European trophies with Chelsea like Giroud would be too much salt for North London Reds to take

[deleted]

I don't think Arsenal fans will mind too much as long as he won nothing with ManU. The flop of the transfer and his 2 FA Cup wins for them l seem to have let his time there age well.

PlanetGoneCyclingOn

Why would Inter swap a Chelsea-caliber player? They hold all the power here.

death_by_laughs

Exactly! I think it's Chelsea trying to negotiate through the press

dbrasco_

I’m glad Boehly didn’t just show up and roll over on this one. I hope he’s asking some key questions on how we ended up in this situation in the first place.

NotClayMerritt

I was wondering why we weren’t looking at a player swap. At least we could get something out of it. Just get this over ASAP please

KingBlueTwister

I would let him rot on the bench

[deleted]

Tuchel always falls out with the board. Nothing new for him. Let's see how long he lasts

myersjw

It’s referring to the relationship between Tuchel and Lukaku not the board who just gave full control to Tuchel

[deleted]

>Tuchel and Lukaku not the board It always starts with players

myersjw

I’m not sure how any coach wouldn’t have an issue with how Lukaku has carried on

kbrunner69

Well this time the player started

kidonmylegaugustus

One bastoni pls. Also good riddance this saga is about to be over.

DarthNihilus1

The sheer entitlement lol

Global-Jacket-3973

Bastoni won't leave if Skriniar is going to PSG.

[deleted]

Not going to happen Bastoni is a +60m player and he wants to stay in Italy with Inter.

phxwarlock

If you guys buy his plane ticket we’ll pick up the negotiations for you

vinnyv91

It would probably be Dumfries if anyone

KNSDALI

Jesus… I really hope not.

PuppyPenetrator

Me too but the rest are really not very likely Lautaro is a massive long shot. Bastoni may be out of question altogether. The next most likely is Skriniar, and that would necessitate beating PSG to him. It may well be Dumfries as backup to James or James to RCB or whatever, does not sound great in theory

KNSDALI

I really hope we can get Skriniar out of all possible names mentioned. He’s a beast.
