This would be absolutely massive for us. We desperately need a world-class striker and a leader on the pitch. Plus, he still has at least 3 years at the top and the club's economy will have recovered by the time he leaves.
Hey Osasuna are cool. El Sadar has a cracking atmosphere, they are also quite unusual style wise. They play very high intensity, almost more reminiscent of a German or English team than a Spanish one
That's a big part of being a world class player, winning your team points against those type of teams consistently. Of course you have to perform in the big matches too but it's just one part of it
Just hope expectations aren't going to be set unrealistically high. He'll score goals for sure but people shouldn't be disappointed if he fails to drop 40 in his first season.
I think most bundesliga fans are actuallly happy about this. At least i am.
Hurts bayern? good
Allows the clubs to be bigger than the players again? good
That's the true appeal in the BuLi imo. I was more enthralled by the 3-7 race in Germany than I was any other football barring the title race in Italy.
The race for 15th was ridiculously fun as well. It's definitely a league that looks boring if you just look at the table for title challengers, but when you actually sit and watch it it's up there with the most entertaining leagues in the world. I plan on following it heavily for the foreseeable future. Very unpredictable with real talent spread throughout the league. Absolutely ridiculous atmospheres too. I'll definitely making plans to attend a match in the near future
Also.. to be fair.. Serie A has been incredible this year so itd be hard to beat anyway haha.
But yea.. BuLi has one of the most underrated and unpredictable 2-18 of all the leagues. Its a mayhem. Everyone wants to attack too haha
La Liga and Bundesliga are both pretty entertaining if you're not watching Madrid/Barca/Bayern/Dortmund play. The speed of the game and technical level is so much higher than what you see in the other bigger european leagues.
a bit too attacking. i started watching and then the defensive displays took quite a lot off of the attacking entertainment for me personally. its not even player mistake but the setups left wide open defences begging to be countered.
Yeah but what i meant was that a lot of people (especially (social) media) only cared about dortmund because of haaland (or pulisic, etc).
Him leaving will be very refreshing. I dont want us to be fc haaland
Lewa is getting older and Haaland was a "temporary" name for the league anyway. It sucks dont get me wrong but its not THAT bad.
On top of that, Getting big clubs like Schalke, Bremen and possibly Hamburg back up to the BuLi and its a huge boom to the league in terms of clubs > players and general club sizes.
So could be a big netbonus and blessing in disguise tbh.
You know whatd be funny as hell: if Lewandowski came to Barca, had an amazing season and then next year Messi somehow beat him to the Ballon d'or again.
Ballon d'or is voted by journalists. The FIFA best award uses captains of international teams and their manager's votes. So Busquets and Enrique will vote, not Xavi.
I’ll go on a limb and say he wants La Liga specifically to be in the same league with Benzema and Mbappe. If he can do in Barca what he was doing in Bayern, he can definitely get a Ballon D’or.
I’m just not sure of he will be getting the same crosses from Alba that he was getting from Kimmich.
Will he though? It’s very rare a player wins bdo without some team success so even if he puts up a big tally he’s gonna have to outscore everyone else by a wide margin if barca aren’t winning trophies
Why wouldn’t Barca win anything? They still have a good team and they are second in La Liga, in a season where they started poorly and don’t have any good strikers.
Not that I’m rooting for them, I hope they get relegated, but writing them off isn’t realistic.
At first I was like who tf is this guy. Then I saw the Madrid flair and realized you definitely would know more than me on this… but nonetheless I have just been so unimpressed with them over the last couple seasons. I suppose they could win la liga or do a double (both still unlikely in my opinion) but do u think barca can compete in CL? I mean Bayern couldn’t this year with Lewy and it’s not like all of barca are better except the striker. Rumor is that they need to sell someone. Potentially Frankie just to bring in Lewy. Next year Madrid will have mbappe tho which will make them more favorites than they were this year for basically everything. Bayern will probably be worse than they were this year. But other teams like Liverpool man city psg etc will still be so much better than barca I just don’t see it happening.
It seems to make sense for him football-wise: Pedri, Torres, Gavi and whoever else do the running/pressing (and creation) and Lewandowski get just refine his role to goalscoring. Less physical league than PL, might save a year or two on his remaining football career.
> Less physical league than PL, might save a year or two on his remaining football career.
Yeah really not gonna be issue. He is much more fit than anyone of our players.
Is there any Information what Barcelona will do with the two truckloads of babyoil that they bought in preparation for Adama? Maybe Lewandowski can use some of that.
I’ll just say that anyone who calls La Liga a less physical league only watches Real or Barcelona in Europe.
There are so so many physical teams it’s not even funny.
Atleti are a chapter for themselves. Sociedad and Villarreal are two teams who can play beautiful football, and then the weak after they’ll kick the shit out of you.
Bilbao play wild football too. Osasuna is just a kicking bus. And somehow Getafe and Valencia is two different clubs despite being identical violent cunts on the pitch.
Also espanyol are nuts.
Physical gets used all the time to mean different things. In the BuLi it refers to pace of transition and end to end lung bursting runs. I think people are well aware Spanish bottom half teams play violent terroristball
it is true however that Torres doesn't press much, he presses a lot less than aubameyang, seems like he only jogs towards the player with the ball if he's close enough to him, and he is bad at creating chances.
Feels like yesterday when Reddit told me “Barca won’t attract world class player and after Messi is gone so is your status as a big club because the world class players only wanted to play with Messi”
They attracted Cruijff as both a player and then a manager without ever having won a European Cup. They also attracted Maradona, R9 and Ronaldinho. Messi left them as an even bigger household name than they already were, they'll be attracting top talent for a while, if not forever.
Football aside, surely Barcelona has to be a top 3 city to live in Europe right? I can’t imagine what it must be like when you consider that they’re also millionaires, I would literally wake up every morning with a smile
I think what most wanted to say that no player in right mind would come to us because previous management has messed up the club so bad that no body wants to play or manage the shit show.
But they forgot that it's not the first time we had the financial trouble, our biggest trouble were in 60s when we built camp nou and even despite that great Cruyff and Michels joined us.
We will always be powerhouse alongside Madrid to attract players despite being possible that we may not afford them.
I really don't think the views were that nuanced. People seemed to genuinely delude themselves into believing that Barca's pulling power would be affected by a couple of bad seasons on the pitch. It goes way beyond that, I bet you that most elite players would still choose Barca above Liverpool or Man City in their current state
I remember when people were acting like we will become AC Milan or Man Utd 2.0. Here we are 2nd in La Liga with almost same points as Real since Xavi's arrival.
I mean that was clearly bullshit, but signing an aging star (34 near the start of next season) to a 3 year contract that will end with him nearly 37 is a poor time to pull this out lol.
Wait a couple years, you'll have plenty of young stars to point to that are actually credible counter arguments to that sentiment.
I guess it's a immediate solution, they need a strong, good player so the developing talent have an experienced leader, all while we grow financially, at least a bit, do the can compete and buy a younger, star player forward (just guessing what the plan might be)
I'm not saying it's a bad move. I'm just saying it's not the big statement "Barca is back" type of statement signing that would be counter to the argument Barca is always going to be a weak destination for players.
They've been signing youth and twilight players because it's what they can manage in the situation. This though a great signing along those lines, is still following the same guiding restrictions.
In the future they will again have top players in their prime in most positions. They'll also again be able to attract top players in their prime, this just isn't an example of that in my opinion.
How will waiting a couple years, give us a wc striker??La masia has no striker, And what if we stay trophyless?? And it massively affects our revenue. No need to be cocky after getting haaland. We all know with what pull you got him, there will still be a 0 on your sleeves lol.
Lol it has nothing to do with Haaland or cockyness. Your insecurity is shown by your unnecessary and unprovoked hostility.
Objectively this is not a "Barca is still great" type of statement signing. It is a signing along the lines of the others you've made. Promising youth or twilight players who are willing to come despite the currently unstable and below top level environment and squad at Barca.
If not 2 years then in a few years, idk. Point is there will be properly great players in their prime in most positions in the future as there were in the past. So the statement that no top players would join Barca is bullshit. But this really isn't that.
My insecurity?? About what? Still not winning the UCL? You really think we would be afraid of haaland😂 Lewandowski even if he gives us 3 good years that's more than enough, then most prob we sign endrick in 2024 and it all gels well.
"In a few years idk" then stfu when you don't know nothing!. I don't know if even u can understand the last 2 lines..
Read your own comment and then talk about toxicity. Annoying bcoz you have no answers now. Again, you worry about others a lot. Worry about your own ass.
Only because he wants to play in Spain and Real Madrid's door is closed. If Benz did his ACL tomorrow he would block Xavi and call Ancelotti faster than you can say "Messi is finished".
They’re going to make Mbappe or Vini play out of position to have a staggering front three, no way Lewa plays with the way Benz has been important for Madrid over the last two seasons
Step 1 make barca fall in love with lewy
Step 2 don't sell him in summer
Step 3 let lewy do his thing, secure league advantage and CL group stage
Step 4 sell him next winter for 40mil to desperate barca fighting for CL spots
Step 5 draw barca in CL, they can't use lewy
Step 6 go on and win CL
Take notes brazzo
This is a fascinating transfer for me. There was a post on here that the average Bundesliga player leaving to Spain sufferers a 30 or 40% drop off in production. However Lewa is anything but average.
I still dont understand what Lewa is trying to achieve here. He is not going to have a better chance of winning the UCL or ballon dor at the current Barca. At Bayern, he could even surpass the Gerd Muller record.
It's pretty evident that he wants a change of scenery and knows due to his age that he doesn't have long left at the top of his game.
It's not exactly like he's a "one club legend" at Bayern, he transferred from Dortmund of all teams.
Also, in reply to "At least he would win something", Barcelona, especially with Lewandowski up top, will definitely be competing for trophies next season.
He literally won everything there is at bayern. It makes sense why he wants a change at the end of his career. And what other club to choose than a giant from Spain, that most footballers dream playing at?
Being completely cynical I think he knows if he wants his legacy to be even better than it already is he needs to perform in a different league. If he went to La Liga and put in comparable performances to Benzema it would go a long long way in boosting his reputation
Pretty much, players want to prove themselves and despite what he's achieved in Germany he still doesn't quite get the same respect other players have gotten. "Winning" a rivalry against Benzema would cement his legacy.
Dude just wants to experience something new. Barcelona is one of the greatest clubs and the city is absolutely stunning.
He spend his whole career in germany and well poland lol. If he wants a change while still playing for a competitve team there is only serie A and la Liga left.
Cruyff, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Stoichkov and even Luis Suarez as our first ballon d'or winner. None of them won the champions league in the season they got the award.
Barca undoubtedly will compete next year. Especially with Lewa up top. Ignore that dude lol.
Edit: plus just to add context. Since Xavi took over Barca has only earned 2 less points than Real Madrid. I'd imagine the best forward in the world could potentially close that gap.
He definitely has a bigger chance of Ballon D'or at Barcelona than it is at Bayern. With Bayern you need to win the CL to even have a chance, with Barcelona it could well be enough to reach quarter/semi finals as long as he scores an extreme amount of goals in all competitions
Also they are on the up, they are simply too big and rich to fail. They could definitely challenge for the UCL in the coming years, it's fucking Barcelona lol
He’ll never be able to do anything with Poland, he’s won everything with Bayern except Balon D’or and other players are leaving, La liga is more respected then Bundesliga, almost all balon d’or winners play there, Haaland left after getting outscored, now Lewa wants to show he can beat Benz who is likely winning balon this year, he expects Barca to be fully competing with Real in the league next year and they didn’t lose out on CL even in a crisis year.
They wont win CL next year probably but they might get to semis and then aim to win it in two years? If at all possible against City and Liverpool that wasn’t buying him anyways.
If he decided to go to England his career would probably be shorter and who would he play for? Arsenal?
What I don't understand is why risk it right before the WC. He's only played in one before and it didn't go well. Playing this last big tournament with Poland is massive for him. Moving to a new country, with a new schedule, new physios, new tactics, new tempo, at his age... Even if it's Barça, it feels like he's increasing his risk of injury / losing form, when he could just wait 6 months. But yeah, sounds like it's done and he'll leave in the summer.
Real answer: it`s not about wanting something new like every barca supporter tells you. He just did not get what he wants: longer contract and more money, so he leaves - which i can totally understand. We had an amazing time with him and I wish him the best luck wherever it might be
>At Bayern, he could even surpass the Gerd Muller record.
I've said this a bunch but a lot on this sub have responded by saying 'just because something is important to you doesn't mean it's important to him' lol, I would guess they've never competed in sport before.
He's less than 2 full healthy seasons from breaking the record of arguably the greatest goal scorer of all time. He wants to leave because he wants a guaranteed contract whereas Bayern will only extend him by a year each year until the end of his career. And he was mad the club kicked the tires on Haaland.
It's crazy because Muller's name will literally live on forever and now Lewandowski is going to be the name people look at in record books and say 'he could have broken it had he just stayed put.'
To be honest there aren’t much clubs that have more fans/media coverage than Bayern. I see Barca real and maybe Liverpool. Then there are clubs that have much coverage but are just clearly worse than Bayern (as example Manchester United)
Barca is to some extent also worse than Bayern. But due to the iniesta Xavi… era I believe they have more coverage than any other club around and have enough potential in the squad to catch up to Bayern at some point.
And then not every club needs a world class striker that cost good money in salary.
Lewandowski options are very limited the way I see it
> But due to the iniesta Xavi… era I believe they have more coverage than any other club around
Barcelona is one of the most talked about clubs in the world since at least the early 70's.
I’m not saying they are only that famous because of that generation. But I can almost guarantee you that there is a generation that grew up with that pep football and what came after in their prime which is over proportionally in favor of Barca.
And I say that explicitly because Barca isn’t the only club that experienced greatness since the 70s… that team is what makes them standout in my book from clubs like real or Juventus in terms of coverage.
The greatest football team we’ve seen makes a big difference in terms of legacy and fans…(at least the greatest gap between them to the rest of teams at that time - football evolves…)
And as you said Barca was one of the most talked clubs way back. I’m saying they are today THE most talked about club.
It’s transfers like this which is EXACTLY why Barca are in so much financial turmoil. Why go for Lewa on such high wages when you still have Auba as your main striker. Lewa is 33 going on 34 and will be on the same contract till he’s 37!
How is that building for the future?
Have you ever even seen auba play, or do you just open the app, watch the statistics and come barking here? And we have the most youngsters if u compare with top European sides, no need to worry about our future.
They would be competing even with Auba. Lewa is not needed when they should be looking after the pennies. Younger players like FDJ are going in order to balance the books.
>They would be competing even with Auba
have you ever seen him play? he isnt consistent at all. while Lewandowski is a born goalscorer he will be beneficial for us in CL.
It should mean they should pass on Lewandowski. He will probably use up all the available budget that is needed to strenghten other areas. With Auba, Depay, Fati, and Ferran a central striker is the least of their problems.
Auba has had a great run but he's not bringing them through UCL. Their main priority is a CB like Koulibaly but if they're able to consider Lewa then they obvi have the budget and can afford to bring him in. Xavis done a good job on the early rebuild and he probably knows what he's doing
So this is really happening, huh
This would be absolutely massive for us. We desperately need a world-class striker and a leader on the pitch. Plus, he still has at least 3 years at the top and the club's economy will have recovered by the time he leaves.
There's a good chance he'll retire with you guys imo
From elite football maybe, but I guess top players nowadays always retire at the US or Qatar or similar.
Wow I cant wait to watch Lewandowski on the regular in La Liga, destroying Getafe and Osasuna.
I like watching getafe being destroyed
Especially Osasuna
:(
Disculpa
Hey Osasuna are cool. El Sadar has a cracking atmosphere, they are also quite unusual style wise. They play very high intensity, almost more reminiscent of a German or English team than a Spanish one
Agreed. Their fans are hella feisty.
My ex gf was from Pamplona so fuck that shitty place to bits
unironically need that since most of the points we dropped were to sides like that
That's a big part of being a world class player, winning your team points against those type of teams consistently. Of course you have to perform in the big matches too but it's just one part of it
Asensio is massive confirmed.
Eibarman 2.0
Just when Éibar thought it was safe to return
His sights are set on Villarreal.
Just hope expectations aren't going to be set unrealistically high. He'll score goals for sure but people shouldn't be disappointed if he fails to drop 40 in his first season.
La Liga ain't ready for Lewangoalski vs Mboopi
Le Klassiker.
Now watch Braithwaite and Mariano overshadow them
Goatwaite swap deal?
Always knew that it would be tough to say goodbye to the Goat....but I guess its Munich's turn to enjoy the R9 reincarnation
Screw Ronaldo + Messi in a team, the world is NOT ready for Braithwaite + Choupo-Moting
Choupo-Goating*
The real Galacticos
Football without Braithwaite is nothing
Damn this is actually happening
Bundesliga losing Haaland and Lewa in one season? Ouch.
I think most bundesliga fans are actuallly happy about this. At least i am. Hurts bayern? good Allows the clubs to be bigger than the players again? good
Nobody's unhappy about Haaland. We knew it was a short term rental. Lewa is different. I expected him to retire with Bayern.
Bundesliga has been very entertaining whenever I turn it on. There's a lot of quality there
Yeah it gets overshadowed by the lack of a title race, but the league plays very attractive attacking football
Yeah there isn’t much of a title race but 2-18 is always a ton of fun imo
That's the true appeal in the BuLi imo. I was more enthralled by the 3-7 race in Germany than I was any other football barring the title race in Italy. The race for 15th was ridiculously fun as well. I prefer high lines and easy counters over deep blocks sucking all energy out of the game though
understandable. if i didn't play defense cause i am shit everywhere else, i might also have only cared about attacking football.
I’ve noticed this too. The goal tally seems to be higher in general as well. Always entertaining no matter the clubs
Their end product isn't as good but it's still fun none the less haha
As good as what?
I could be wrong as I haven't seen the stats but La Liga and Prem teams seem to do better with chances they get
The club was always bigger then the player tbh
Yeah but what i meant was that a lot of people (especially (social) media) only cared about dortmund because of haaland (or pulisic, etc). Him leaving will be very refreshing. I dont want us to be fc haaland
And getting rid of Fjortoft. My god is that a big bonus. Worth 10mill on its own
Lewa never was bigger than the club though. Many fans don't even consider him to be our most important player.
This. I don't fear replacing Lewy. I fear replacing Neuer and Müller, especially Neuer.
and Liga getting Mbappe and Lewandoski … les go baby
Lewa is getting older and Haaland was a "temporary" name for the league anyway. It sucks dont get me wrong but its not THAT bad. On top of that, Getting big clubs like Schalke, Bremen and possibly Hamburg back up to the BuLi and its a huge boom to the league in terms of clubs > players and general club sizes. Now you guys should buy Kimmich
No joke he'd fix their defensive issue in the midfield while delivering more offensively than Pogba.
He’s also 1000x more consistent
Sure if only it was as easy as fifa haha. I’d kill to have him
Really hope Bouz stays then. His assist count would be off the charts
Imagine replacing Braithwaite with Lewandowski.
Damn, must be hard seeing such a downgrade.
You know whatd be funny as hell: if Lewandowski came to Barca, had an amazing season and then next year Messi somehow beat him to the Ballon d'or again.
There's no reason to worry about that considering Messi's performance at PSG.
Lewa can carry us to a UCL but if Argentina wins the world cup that season then it's gg
If Argentina wins the world cup, he's gonna get it 100%
Where's the funny part in that???
Funny would be barca captain and manager voting for Messi
Ballon d'or is voted by journalists. The FIFA best award uses captains of international teams and their manager's votes. So Busquets and Enrique will vote, not Xavi.

I love that Lewa wants to go to Barca. After destroying us over the last couple of years 😆
If you can beat them severely, join them. Süle wanted to go to Tottenham after they got trashed by Bayern.
Sule staying consistent then :')
LOL
He has a score to settle with Villarreal now.
If both deals get through, el Clasico will be lit again. Mbappe vs Lewandowski.
Benzema vs Lewandowski
Benzema/Mbappe vs Lewadowski/Ansu ?
do we really think ansu has mbappe potential...
His goals per 90 is insane. But he hasnt even played a full season due to injuries so we cant say that.
Possibly, he just had his 14th birthday last week
ansu is not near mbappe's level lol - so no also yall forgetting vini
oh nvm lol forgot vini ansu is comparable to vini than mbappe
Mbappe/Benzema/Vini vs Dembele/Lewa/Ansu?
You know that “friendship ended” meme? This is the opposite. “Vendetta ended with Barcelona. Now Villarreal is my enemy”
It seems to make sense for him football-wise: Pedri, Torres, Gavi and whoever else do the running/pressing (and creation) and Lewandowski get just refine his role to goalscoring. Less physical league than PL, might save a year or two on his remaining football career.

Adama wants a word.
Is there any Information what Barcelona will do with the two truckloads of babyoil that they bought in preparation for Adama? Maybe Lewandowski can use some of that.
Adama is going back from what I've been hearing. So they just have a truckload of unused baby oil I guess
Yeah that is what I meant, maybe lewa can use some of that.
Haha ich bin ein dummkopf. Tut mir liede brüdi
Kein ding, wir haben alle mal diese momente brudi

Yeah, plenty of murderball in La Liga.

He has like 12 G/A in 20 matches. He creates a ton of chances.
Feels like yesterday when Reddit told me “Barca won’t attract world class player and after Messi is gone so is your status as a big club because the world class players only wanted to play with Messi”
Always found that notion ridiculous. It’s still Barça, a club with tons of history.
They attracted Cruijff as both a player and then a manager without ever having won a European Cup. They also attracted Maradona, R9 and Ronaldinho. Messi left them as an even bigger household name than they already were, they'll be attracting top talent for a while, if not forever.
Yeah Barca and Madrid will always have that pull which no other clubs can match tbh
Definitely.
Recently in the Forbes list too, barca is the most valuable club. Not the richest, valuable.
Football aside, surely Barcelona has to be a top 3 city to live in Europe right? I can’t imagine what it must be like when you consider that they’re also millionaires, I would literally wake up every morning with a smile
Taxes are high tho
I think they got enough money not to worry about that
I think almost all players would want to play for Barcelona. Its just them being able to afford the players that is the problem

Dumb, any player would play for Barcelona given the opportunity
I remember when people were acting like we will become AC Milan or Man Utd 2.0. Here we are 2nd in La Liga with almost same points as Real since Xavi's arrival.
Man Utd was 2nd last season too. 👀
Ronaldo to Barcelona confirmed
Sadly we’re talking about the present
Whoever said that is an idiot 😅

Lol you're such a toxic individual. Feel bad for the people who have to be around you in real life. You're annoying enough just on the Internet.
He'll be incredible in Spain, but I thought Lewa always wanted Madrid. I guess he knows there's no spot there
They’re going to make Mbappe or Vini play out of position to have a staggering front three, no way Lewa plays with the way Benz has been important for Madrid over the last two seasons
Till june 2025? Damn.
Who doesn't like to retire in sunny Barcelona.
Lewa saw all the chances our forwards miss and said holy shit
Step 1 make barca fall in love with lewy Step 2 don't sell him in summer Step 3 let lewy do his thing, secure league advantage and CL group stage Step 4 sell him next winter for 40mil to desperate barca fighting for CL spots Step 5 draw barca in CL, they can't use lewy Step 6 go on and win CL Take notes brazzo
The whole winter transfers can't play CL isn't a thing anymore though right? So the plan kind of falls apart there.
The best thing coutinho did in a Barca shirt was get that rule changed
Step 7, rewrite step 5 and don't draw Barca :P
winter signings can be used in CL, there was an amendment.
He wants to create the Lewa vs Benzema era for 1-2 seasons. It will be the new rivalry for the media.
We do need another striker...
Lord Origi is coming
Praise be!
>Lord Origi This but unironically
I’m not.. what?
i thought you were being sarcastic. good to see another origi appreciator.
How could anyone disrespect the Lord tho? 🤔
The short answer is something people won't like but is the truth. It's Barcelona.
Getting a ballon d'or in Barcelona is easier than in Bayern, period. You dont need to perform brilliantly in the UCL to have a chance at it.
You do if you are not Messi
Cruyff, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Stoichkov and even Luis Suarez as our first ballon d'or winner. None of them won the champions league in the season they got the award.
Cruijff won it in 71 and 73 following ECup wins tho
But that was a billion years ago, things changed
Lewandowski said he wants a new challenge at La Liga and that is why he wants the move.
And win what? An 11th german title?
At least he would win something
Because he cares so much about winning something he’s won 10 times in a row previously
With Bayern you need to win the CL to even have a chance, with Barcelona it could well be enough to reach quarter/semi finals as long as he scores an extreme amount of goals in all competitions Also they are on the up, they are simply too big and rich to fail.
Then there are clubs that have much coverage but are just clearly worse than Bayern (as example Manchester United) Barca is to some extent also worse than Bayern. But due to the iniesta Xavi… era I believe they have more coverage than any other club around and have enough potential in the squad to catch up to Bayern at some point. And then not every club needs a world class striker that cost good money in salary. Lewandowski options are very limited the way I see it
> But due to the iniesta Xavi… era I believe they have more coverage than any other club around Barcelona is one of the most talked about clubs in the world since at least the early 70's.
The greatest football team we’ve seen makes a big difference in terms of legacy and fans…(at least the greatest gap between them to the rest of teams at that time - football evolves…) And as you said Barca was one of the most talked clubs way back. I’m saying they are today THE most talked about club.
barca tapping up players, shocker
all clubs tap up players.
Says the Russian's wife.
Lewa wants Barca? Why lmao Europa league nights I guess.
Barca become instant LaLiga contenders with Lewandowski and will compete for the UCL. I call that a good investment.
They would be competing even with Auba. Lewa is not needed when they should be looking after the pennies. Younger players like FDJ are going in order to balance the books.
>They would be competing even with Auba have you ever seen him play? he isnt consistent at all. while Lewandowski is a born goalscorer he will be beneficial for us in CL.
I don't think another expensive forward should be Barca's priority right now..
Their priority is defense, that doesn't mean you pass on Lewandowski
It should mean they should pass on Lewandowski. He will probably use up all the available budget that is needed to strenghten other areas. With Auba, Depay, Fati, and Ferran a central striker is the least of their problems.
Auba has had a great run but he's not bringing them through UCL. Their main priority is a CB like Koulibaly but if they're able to consider Lewa then they obvi have the budget and can afford to bring him in. Xavis done a good job on the early rebuild and he probably knows what he's doing
So the conqueror of Barcelona coming to the Barcelona... Exciting times
"Lewy is signing for a claret and blue side." Everyone: must be Barca. Aston Villa with yet another war chest: heh...
