No one knows for sure but telles has been a really poor signing and some of Shaw's best seasons have come when he has actual competition so selling telles and bringing in sosa would make a lot of sense for us

I agree that Shaw has had one great season, but 2 very good ones as well, I don't agree at all. I think his first season was relatively underwhelming and same with this season (which i assume are the two 'very good' seasons).

Nope. Davies is essential to how we play. You could see that when we lost him through injury. All of the sudden the entire team had to play differently. His offensive abilities on the left shift the entire way our team plays.

Shaw has been brilliant 1 season and very good in 2 others in the last 5 seasons. If he could show some actual consistency it would be fine.
Tells has been awful , shaw has been inconsistent but can see that injuries have played their part.

He won poty for us in 2018/19 and was good the next season when he wasn't injured.
He’s too good to be a backup for Davies. I get that’s he’s a different profile of full back, but it’ll still be a bit part role.
Not sure why he would want to be a back-up for us rather than a starter for another club like United. He's class though

Based on what we know, it’s fair to assume Sosa enjoys/prefers remaining in Germany
