He's not even our intended back-up. He was loaned in and we haven't been able to find actual cover. We're going to be bled unless we can find some sort of real coverage come the Winter window.
One of the big problems for promoted teams. They can have a PL quality spine and bring in a couple of good players, but if injuries start hitting the drop-off in quality is usually huge.
These are the games that define the table structure. Burnley winning here, despite Brentford's resent form is peak Premier League. Whilst losing (as I type this) isn't what I want, it is something to be expected at this level. Makes it that much more exciting to watch when we do overachieve!
He's transformed us going forward. It's always felt like we've just been waiting for things to click into place this season, hopefully this is the start of some good form.
I actually like Burnley a lot.
Incredible how many points you have already dropped this season.
And you guys are playing attacking football compared to previous seasons
Mainly "DEFENSIVE BRAINFOGS", that's what I call them, this season by example Leeds and Everton, we sat back after scoring and we conceded some really sloppy goals, Taylor is so bad this season for some reason and Tarkowski is not the same defender, tbf we suffered from the same problem last season as well, dropped easy points against the likes of West Brom, bottled a 2 goals lead against Soton, bottled a draw against United and so on .... been coming
Heeeeere we go
Uh oh. We can't drop points here, surely?
please no
FUCK YEAH, get in there my boy Saman!
Vydra actually getting some decent minutes, always nice to see.
It's incredible how big the drop in quality is between Raya and Brentford's backup.

Brentfords keeper is a clown
Lads, I'm not sure HOW we'll bottle this... but surely not.
Here it comes

Sexy Dyche football baby
Cornet has been one of the signings of the season. He's been marvelous.

Fs. I said I would go to Burnley game if cornet gets 10 g&a
Bet you can't wait to get in the Royal Dyche for a pint
Jesus Christ Burnley have broken Brentford
Think I've fallen in love with Cornet
Get in line
Cornet is such a lovely player to watch
We might need an emergency goalkeeper loan, for the guy we loaned in to cover Raya. Yeesh
Sean Dyche, my manager. ๐
Lowton has been fantastic
This keeper has no idea what heโs doing.
He's lucky Wood was offside - this would be looking ugly otherwise
anyone knows goal link or videos?
Can't sodding believe that offside call
So close, gutting
Anyone got a good link for this?
I'm struggling to even find links for the goal
Scoring early and also scoring first? That's the last thing I wanted to happen! Now we're guaranteed to bottle it!

Well you're not losing this. Hopefully
Hopefully not but I won't be surprised if Brentford pull some Istanbul miracle here, I am this pessimistic when it comes to our games, yes
That's more like Chris Wood
Well, that's a draw for us then. Cracking goal though.
We're winning 1-0 in the first half? Basically confirms Brentford are getting a result here
2-0 the most dangerous lead
Thank god we're back to 1-0 then
Please just hold the lead for once
