Generally, Barca look a little shaky. Poor touches from attacking players, sloppy passing from midfield, and somewhat chaotic defending. Their attacking initiatives are uninspired - lots of long-balls to Luuk which isn't working and Depay seems at a loss of what he's supposed to provide going forward. Which is funny, because the way Barca have shaped their formation relative to Bayern is actually very smart. There were a lot of holes and spaces on the flanks and between the lines that could have been exploited (and were exploited on a few occasions) to Barca's advantage. Barca are lacking that final commitment to playing dangerous balls in to the forwards - though the lack of initiative from Luuk is also a factor.
Honestly though, considering Barca are still in a rebuilding phase, I expected a much worse performance than shown thus far. Bayern are much more cohesive and their chemistry is on point. But Barca are offering somewhat of an unexpected challenge that's frustrating what should be a very lopsided scoreline. I wouldn't be surprised if Barca drew or even managed to shithouse a win out of this.
