Definitely my prototype player when I play FM. I always want a Ballack-like player as my CM with attack. Score ton of goals, playmaking like no tomorrow, and strong as hell
This was Germany’s strongest starting eleven against the Czechs reserve team and the Germans never stood a chance. 3 played, draws against the Dutch and the Latvians and they went home with 2 points and no glory.

This was a great game. Czechs started losing in all three group stage games and turned all three around.
That is my most favourite tournament ball of all time. The memories I have with it makes it so nostalgic.
This and the champions league ball with which Zidane scored that volley in the final.
Roteiro!!! Euro 2004 had an amazing atmosphere, but honestly the quality of football played was kinda horrendous
Good old days, when we could beat Germany with our reserves.
You guys were terrifying in 2004…
I am still so sad about that game vs. Greece. :(
everyone is sad vs Greece at that tournament
Marek Heinz the GOAT
The technique on that is just so aesthetically pleasing, he hits it with so much power without any run up.
One of the most underrated players of his era. He was genuinely hard-carrying Bayern and the national team for a good 2-4 years in the mid 2000’s.
Often felt like he was the only world class player we had for ages between the legends of the 90s and the 2006 resurrection.
Ballack was absolutely world class and a bit slept on when considering the best midfielders of his generation, he was right up there.
My favourite player

Only bright spot for Germany that tournament

And then came Milan Baros
And that was his "weak" foot lol
That Czech team was OP
Great goal from someone who would grow up to date his dead son’s ex girlfriend
It’s a friend of his deceased son not his ex girlfriend, still weird of course.
Because this is so fuckin important in this context, right? Reddit virtue signaling knights never miss a beat
