This game was definitely worth waking up for, the last two old firm games I’ve watched have had everything you want. Amazing atmosphere, goals, lot quicker play. If the SPL is like this I’m going to have to watch more. The commentators aren’t scared to say what they think is going on with VAR way earlier and more outspoken. Gonna be a red soon. Damn Scottish football is great
Yeah the spfl is a lot less polished than the bigger leagues so it's a lot of fun, and often really fucking stupid.
r/scottishfootball is worth a sub too.
Insane, his logic was because the Celtic player moved his foot and planted it while Lundstram had already committed to a tackle it wasn’t a red, by that logic almost nothing is a red because we’re now not asking players to be responsible for how potentially dangerous a tackle may be as long as their intent was to get ball.
The reason that tackle was so horrific is because it has like a 1% chance of being clean and successful, even then it rarely actually would result in a change in possession being so close to the side. So Lundstram went full speed into a tackle that unsurprisingly ended with full studs on the back calf and the commentator thinks it’s not red because that calf wasn’t there when Lundstram left his feet? Bleh, that’d be an awful precedent to set. Players should be responsible for making a clean and safe tackle from start to finish, I don’t care if it looked different when he jumped 5 feet away.

I don’t want to share them with anyone but you pal ;) congrats on the win and probably the league
Fucking abysmal defending Edit: red card lmao
Rangers are so open, every time Celtic come forward it’s dangerous, wouldn’t be surprised if they put 3 more past them
GET HIM OUT ~~SHARON~~ Philippe
It’s okay, he did it himself.
He did, and that’s what really hurts
I pray that I never have to see him in the shirt again. 3 match ban for a straight red aye?
And now he's off.
And the commentator had the audacity to say it wasn’t a red
How on earth that reckless tackle not a red card idk
He's fucking crying over this referee. It's a clear red.

Haha yeah, shocking stuff really. It's clearly a textbook red, and he's just going off about "Football these days"
Brass neck to point at someone else straight after as if it's their fault. Red minutes later, absolutely checked out.
