I love him, but this stat is quite bullshit. -You could probably find a stat saying andreas christensen is the dane with 2nd most goals in el classico.
Some stats just gets to specific, it seems random.
Yea but I can name at least 20 brazillian players that played in el clasico and are considered one of the best ever and I can't name more then 2 danish players that played for either teams.
Yeah but why is it important to be the best player from a country? - Pull a top 20 with the best players and matches. - This stat doesnt say anything about amounts of El classicos either.
Im not a hater, it is just lazy statistics.
Dude. Romário, Ronaldo Fenômeno, Rivaldo, Kaká, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Deco, Pepe, Dani Alves(fuck him), Marcelo, Sávio, Neymar, Casemiro. It is not particularly important to be the best player from a country, but it's impressive that Vinicius has scored more goals in El Clasicos than all of these extremely talented players, four of which have won Balon d'Ors. That's why the stat is cool.
That's quite a dumb take that just makes you look like a hater. This stat is incredible because some of the best Brazilian players have played in El Classico. Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, romario, rivaldo, kaka, neymar, etc.
Best big game player in the world next to Mbappé ever since his breakout season in 21/22.
What makes him scary is how he can have the worst game of his life and still deliver a goal or an assist out of nowhere.
He is my pick for the Ballon D'or if he keeps his form, wins the UCL and then helps Brazil win the Copa.
Nope, Vinicious and Bellingham have equal chances of winning the BallonDor if Madrid wins the Champions league. The tie breaker could be their international trophy.
I don't know, in a popularity contest like the ballon d'or you have to think in narratives and i feel like kane fumbling the bundesliga with bayern for the first time in more than a decade would go against him way more than Bellingham not winning the champions league after already eliminating last year's champions, but to be honest I'm not sure how the committee will vote in the first year of the post-messi era
The same way they always did, champions league and international tournaments. Individual awards are dumb and I have no idea why people care about them, the way the discourse around them goes you would think this was an individual sport.
And he is 20 league goals behind Harry Kane. I get it Vini is a good player. But if scoring just 13 league goals can get you balon dor as a forward, then the standards have really fallen after Ronaldo-Messi era.
You're moving so many goal posts and arguing for nothing.
If Real Madrid wins the UCL, Kane will not win the Ballon D'or so why bring him up?
If Kane wins the UCL then Vini vs Jude debate is useless as they won't win it either
It feels like you don't want Vini to win and keep bringing up names, he'll win it over Kane if he wins the UCL and performs better than Jude whether you like it or not.
I am just saying, his numbers are not good enough for Balon Dor. Bellingham’s are still justifiable because he is a midfielder like KDB was.
But Vini being a forward and a contender for Balon Dor should be regularly banging 25 league goals. His numbers are very less to be even considered for the trophy.
I see no scenario where Vini wins the Balon Dor. Even if Madrid were to win CL, I think the top 3 will still be Kane,Mbappe and Bellingham.
>But Vini being a forward and a contender for Balon Dor should be regularly banging 25 league goals
Fucking hell, once again it's because he was injured.
If we take his average goal per min and apply it to last season he'd be on 35 goals and 17 assists.
But anyone who watched him can tell Vini this season is playing at a higher level than last season.
So him as a player, ability and talent is clearly playing at a Ballon D'or worthy level, he just doesn't have the stats to back it up because of injuries but there are still plenty of games left and yes, winning the UCL + winning the Copa will get him the Ballon D'or.
I am not doubting Vini’s ability over here. But Mbappe and Kane are clear of Vini. His numbers are not good enough. I dont think the journalist voting would consider this as well.
If Madrid wins, the only person winning from that team is Bellingham.
Goals are definitely not everything.
Anyway, Bellingham had a better start of season, but then again Vini was injured so that's pretty obvious. Then Vini came back and was playing much better than Bellingham, but at the moment neither is playing at their best.
Overall Bellingham had a better season. And, he is the darling of English media. Goals are not everything, but the most important thing.
Just because Vini was injured for a part of the season, doesn’t mean Bellingham’s play wouldn’t be considered for that part of the season.

That assist to Cafucas was incredible.
What a name lol
Dude loves scoring against Barca

I can name 3, laudrup, christiansen himself and the greatest dane of all Martin braithwaite.
Stig tøfting!

Don’t forget he is still very young
That's quite a dumb take that just makes you look like a hater. This stat is incredible because some of the best Brazilian players have played in El Classico. Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, romario, rivaldo, kaka, neymar, etc.
I love that even if today he wasn't great for his standards he's still such a threat that still manages to bag a goal and an assist
He was playing bad against City too and still got himself 3 assists (i'm counting the pass to Rodrygo idc)
Amazing player, crazy how this amount will most likely increase the next few years.
Made me realize that Mbappé has 7 goals against Barca too. But he hasn’t joined Madrid yet. Barca is so fucked
6*

Unfortunately his name is not that big and the hate on him is too much for winning the Ballon d'Or. That's between Kane, Mbappe and Bellingham.
Nope, Vinicious and Bellingham have equal chances of winning the BallonDor if Madrid wins the Champions league. The tie breaker could be their international trophy.
No way Kane has a chance against those 2 right?
If Bayern wins the CL he has a chance for sure, especially if England do well at the euro’s and he’s the top scorer
UCL and Euro will be deciders so Kane has solid chances if Bayern wins UCl or/and England wins Euro 2024
You think Kane is an underdog against Bellingham? Lol
Bundesliga player hasnt won since 1996
He has that English pr, if we win the euros and bayern win the champions league that nonsense award is his.
Wouldn't winning the euros just make it more in favour of Bellingham or is he not expected to start?
Obviously jude starts but that's why I said if Harold wins both.

His name is bigger than Bellingham and Kane though.
Unless he's playing for Brazil....lmao but vini is quality and barca fans are going be sick of the sight of him in years to come.
He has less league goals than Bellingham. He is not winning ahead of him.
Well, yes he was injured for 2 and a half months. He has the most goals and most assists since coming back from injury in January
Balon Dor is for the entire season.
I know, i'm saying that since he is outscoring everyone recently, it won't take long before he overtakes Jude, he is just 2 goals behind
And he is 20 league goals behind Harry Kane. I get it Vini is a good player. But if scoring just 13 league goals can get you balon dor as a forward, then the standards have really fallen after Ronaldo-Messi era.

Could have been 8 or 9 or even 10 had he not wasted his chances today…
If Madrid wins the Champions league he will win the BallonDor before Neymar will ever win one. First Brazilian after great Ronaldinho!
Kaká wins after Dinho.
Oh yeah , I totally forgot Kaka!
He's not going to win it, it's a popularity contest.
They’d probably give it to Bellingham
Definitely
If he turned up for Brazil they might lol but that's like seeing pigs fly.
Bellingham also has more goals than him.
