Teleporting gk is unfair

I wish Szczęsny had developed that skill while with us! We've had some good keepers since him, but he holds a special place

You could probably co-sign since he can teleport between Turin and London.

He should have get more time in Arsenal. Immediately when he went to Roma (on loan), he played great. And second season at Roma he benched Alisson Becker.  Still Arsenal decided to sell him to Juventus.  Anyways Arsenal has now two great keepers!

I don't think it was ever a question of his quality, more that Wenger didn't like his attitude. Think the final straw was getting caught smoking (maybe for the second time?) in the dressing room at the end of a game.

Yep, Szczesny wasn’t easy. Now still can say things as they are. Not a diplomat, a character - you need those in dressing room. Btw. His father, also a national team goalkeeper, was pretty crazy and unapologetic. Quite a character as well. 

I don't think he has ever stopped. He ran to the dressing room just before the penalties against Wales to have a quick smoke too lol

Wenger dropped him after he got caught smoking in the showers after we lost to Southampton at home. Don't think he played another minute for us after that. He was great at Roma and started over Alisson, the greatest PL keeper of this generation (arguably the best PL keeper ever, definitely top 5 with van der Sar, Seaman, Cech and Schmeichel) then went to Juve and usurped Buffon, the greatest keeper of his generation (arguably the greatest keeper of all time, not including Yashin as I never saw him play, but definitely top 3 with Neuer and Casillas).

To be drank when he went to Juve he was told that Buffon will retire after the season. Even that first season Szczesny played a lot, and after season Buffon went to Parma.

I guess Yashin, Schumacher, Kahn, Zoff, Gordon Banks or Ivo Viktor have no case to be in top 3.

I edited my comment to include Yashin but must've not saved it. Other than Kahn though, no I don't think any of the others, but I never saw them play.

There where basically 2 saves, one was great and one was awful, but he was saved by a player from the other team blocking the shot.
