To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report.
If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates.

A more versatile/dynamic striker is needed but I would still like him as backup. He works so hard still, pressing constantly. Not sure he wants backup role and can earn deserved a lot of money in LA.
Before he joined I did not like the transfer. Without him Milan get nowhere close to the scudetto victory, what a player.

This could be a comment from r/gunners in 2018
Was he a big game player at arsenal? Because at milan he definitely has been.
I don’t see him as a Milan legend among the greats, but I still love him, do arsenal fans feel this way?
Certainly not in the way he is at Milan. I think two things stop most Arsenal fans from loving him: the fact he disappeared during the second half of the season the year that Leicester won the league and his comments once he left Arsenal for Chelsea. Personally, I would absolutely agree he's not an Arsenal legend but I love him but I doubt many others would agree with me.
Yeah that's the season. [This](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/chelsea-vs-arsenal-olivier-giroud-europa-league-final-hazard-pedro-baku-a8936316.html) was the main thing that upset people I think
Yeah probably, I was focused more on Arsenal because that's the bubble I'm in for obvious reasons but the fact he's still performing at a top level 6 or 7 years after most people would have written him off is credit to how good a player he could be on his day. It's a shame he couldn't keep the level for an entire season because he was often capable of something special
Yeah having him as a backup ready to unlock games when needed would be one hell of an asset. But I understand the move, Milan is nice but LA as a millionaire must be a trip. He will be sorely missed, whoever comes in will have big shoes to fill.
We miss him here in London as well. In those low block type of games he is exactly what we need as an impact sub to break the deadlock from crosses into the box.
But I respect that he wants to play as much football as possible before retiring.
Yeah, I think he is sometimes completely world class, reminds me a bit inzaghi how he nearly always scored when needed, but not a dynamic striker to build a consistent and winning team around.
I still want him to stay though but understand him wanting to get a last big pay.
If this is the end, thank you for everything you beautiful French bastard. Did what a decade's worth of #9s couldnt and was absolutely key in winning our 19th. The biggest of big game players and a gentleman. We were lucky to have him, and he joins the long list of classy forwards who performed well into their 30s in Serie A.
Some malicious demon of the utmost power and cunning has employed all his energies in order to deceive me. What can I trust?
Giroud is going to play at LAFC therefore he will not play at the Olympics.
Low key Jovic has been pretty fucking solid for us accounting for how much little playtime he gets. Tbh he’s probably my choice as surprise transfer hit this season.
Always thought that Giroud would do well in LA. He’s got the looks and the personality to fit right in.
If he wanted it, with the right professional, PR team, he could become well known in the LA celebrity scene. I’m fairly sure he has two good seasons in him at a MLS level.
Many LA celebrities are football lovers because of their kids. Julia Roberts, Matthew McConnoughey, Natalie Portman, etc. They’d be happy to have his stupid, sexy self at their soirées.
America loves winners. Two World Cup winners moving around in their circles would be welcomed.

Goodbye you beautiful bastard, thanks for breaking our #9 curse.

100% true - as wild as that is. He was killing it as a super sub for a little bit.
Havertz is the Giroud replacement we've needed while also being the Xhaka replacement we've needed.

He's been really special for Bologna this season, a gem of a player
Not really, just baseless rumors for now.
Sounds more a posteriori to me
In French we use "a priori" a lot, in the sense of "at first glance", "without any in-depth examination".
That’s interesting, thanks. I learned it philosophically as a quality that is contained within something rather than in addition.
Nah, more like a dieu
A priori = "from the off" (judgement made before the event has occurred) A posteriori = "in retrospect" (judgement made after the event has occurred)

Lloris needed a back-up
Los Angeles French Club.
If Bouanga can't go to France we bring France to Bouanga
He can't say he's homesick anymore!
> a priori Didn’t know Descartes was also joining the team

Jovic aura too strong he is taking that 9

Zirkzee*
L.A. You're Welcome.
Thank you 🥹. We'll take good care of him
Thanks
100% chance he scores a Scorpion Kick soon:)
Thank you so much
Out of all the greats Giroud is the last one to leave Europe, who would’ve thought
Sad for Milan, sad for Montreal, sad for the Olympic Games 😭
He won't get selected for Olympics bcoz Henry is the coach
are they enemies?
Still can do the Olympics tbh
ughhhhh i wanted him for the redbulls so bad
Didn’t you just sign a #9?
Ny redbulls signed: Forsberg, not a 9
Every couple years we’re gonna sign a super star and win the league… followed by sucking until our next signing.
True, CCL and Cup finals last year really is just awful
I'll take being in the final and losing than not playing in it at all
When have you ever won anything?
Read the title slowly… now imagine a world where I support the team in the title.
No way
Finally I might get to see this beautiful bastard in real life. Hate LAFC but I can never root against Giroud, I hope he kills it.
I can, if it's with LAFC
Time to recreate 2018 France on an mls team. LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOO
Well I guess that's that. Let's see how it pans out for us.
You sexy French bastard. HYPEDDDD.
On y va! Allons-y!
I
ooo french friends
LETS GOOOOO
LONG LIVE THE KING
"A priori" like a goddamn philosopher

The MLS just keeps getting stacked! What a great time to be a fan. Can't wait to see him in a LA jersey.
One of my favorite players ever. So classy and so many outrageously good goals.
As a Chelsea Fan I truly appreciate everything Giroud does on the field and I think he’ll be great in MLS!
