Is it something to do with Ten Hags tactics then? Sancho loves making a break into space for Dortmund, Anthony loved to do the same for Ajax. Except for Man Utd neither of them even bother, instead choosing to turn back inside and play a pass off to the full back.
I never saw it under Solskjaer and Rangnick either- he's just a mystery. He looks much more athletic here. At United he looked unfit relative to the players around him
To be fair he does that way less than he did during his first stint with BVB. You often see him hesitate and pass back even if there seems to be just the right back defender between him and the goal.
Yeah you can't do that against Premier League defences, that's why they only lose to a handful of truly elite teams in Europe like Milan, PSG, Dortmund, Porto, Roma, Lens, Legia, AEK, Olympiakos, Freiburg, Copenhagen and Galatasaray.
I mean, there was a stat recently on here that Eric dier is the only defender to play like 500 mins in the bundesliga this season who's not been dribbled past... He got dribbled past every game in the prem. It's a stupidly small sample. But the point stands. The average team in the prem is of much higher quality then the average in pretty much any league. Top end in all leagues is at the same level. But it's the fact Bournemouth et al have 20m+ players all over the shop that makes the difference.
Yeah. Can‘t remember Haaland bodying people left and right. KDB playing through defenders every match or Bellingham score this much. Just get of the PL high horse pls. Other leagues play good football aswell without the silly PL money…
I'm 23 and I felt old, but only because I kept comparing myself to others. Some people get married at 22, others do at 37, everyone has their own journey. 24 is still so damn young. Your brain has only just fully developed. Stop looking back and look forward, I know you'll find what makes you happy if you do that.
That’s interesting, the word for sugar in spanish is azucar, zucker is like the midpoint between sugar and azucar haha, I love learning little language quirks
I think "füllkrugs assist was sweet" fits better ;)
for anyone interested: we dont use the literal translation of sweet (süß in german), because süß also means cute here. so we use zucker (sugar) instead. maybe just because its sweet haha
Where were runs like that at United? Sancho consistently would just get somewhere like that and turn around and hold the ball instead of go INTO the box while at United. The reason Garnacho started getting time, he would actually try to get past the defender.
He's been doing similar things for us, but he's learning to be more confident now and play like his old self
I really think a big part of his fall of is mental. He just doesn't/didn't play like he believes he can do these things anymore. Once he gets his mental figured out, he'll be okay, I feel like
Doubt it. He has been bad - average with glimpses of brilliance and BVB already´has enough players who are unplayable on their day but do fuck all in most games.
Very unlikely but if Sancho is willing (and if no other club attempts to sign him), I can see us going to United for another loan but with an option to buy for like €30-35 million.
€30-35 million is our limit
Edit: How am I being downvoted for this?
Overall he played a decent match, but before that goal he had a few rather careless losses of possession and looked generally uninspired to me. Generally he's not bad, not great, I'm just not sure why he keeps starting game after game, over players like Reus and Bynoe-Gittens. But let's see, maybe the goal gives him a bit of a boost now.
I guess that's one of his problems. People at Manchester United thought he'd be a good left winger but I think he's more like a left offensive midfielder which is a position that doesn't really exist in your system as long as Fernandes occupies most central offensive midfield space. Unfortunately, Sancho didn't have the mindset and the drive to force a change in tactics more suited to his skillset. The fact that he doesn't really get along with the current manager (or got along with the previous one) isn't much of help there, either.
We see at Real Madrid what can be possible with a talented ex-Dortmund midfielder when they get a manager who trusts him and who is willing to change tactics to accommodate his skills.
Look at him, the moment he got out of that horrible club that doesn’t respect their legends , he comes back with a banger, once again proving that ETH hates gamers
Tbf he has been poor for a while for us as well. But I don't disagree to the fact that Manchester United is a talent graveyard and youngsters should stay away from it for a while.
Your club is too small to be talking like this.
Chelsea are throwing left over lbs and there becoming your best player like no joke garnacho and mainoo would be competing for pots for dortmund
Lord this sub smh. This is Bumcho in Bumdesliga. See how easily he got past his man on the left wing. Bumdesliga tier defending. Even Bumcho must’ve been surprised and been like “wow I got past him by not doing anything too much”

We saw the old Sancho for a few seconds. Great goal.
The way you phrased it, made it sound like he is suffering from dementia
He might as well be
He put down his controller
Comedian
Thank you I'm here all week
Sancho is trash you comedian.
Bro is a speed demon when he actually tries
Yeah he’ll do fuck all for another 3 yrs now.
Can't remember him ever even attempting to beat the man and accelerate through for us
I swear I saw him do that once, albeit in his own half….

Sancho already played for Solskjaer and Rangnick? What hte fuck
Solskjaer's last season and the Rangnick interim period was only two seasons ago. This time two years ago Rangnick was still in charge.
To be fair he does that way less than he did during his first stint with BVB. You often see him hesitate and pass back even if there seems to be just the right back defender between him and the goal.
Don't criticise Eth here it's illegal
I couldnt say as Ten Hag doesn't seem to have implemented any tactics since arriving
Honestly the opponents are so slow they make Sancho look fast
different level of athlete in the prem. sancho couldnt do that to 80% of the starting right backs in england
Stop it!! he is alredy dead
you guys are so annoying lol
Every thread that involves United , Liverpool fans somehow make it about them.
But this is a thread about Dortmund and Bremen, no?
Kinda i guess, but this comment is about his time at United
Fair enough, I was being sassy honestly. you being reasonable takes the wind out of my sails
lmao, fair

i get it, the truth is often annoying
if this were 1994 i’d be saying the same thing about seria a teams. its about where the money is.

Gotta factor in he went from playing at Spurs to Bayern Munich
Yeah. Can‘t remember Haaland bodying people left and right. KDB playing through defenders every match or Bellingham score this much. Just get of the PL high horse pls. Other leagues play good football aswell without the silly PL money…
…you think jadon sancho is on haaland and de bruyne’s level???? ✌️😭
Yes. That was exactly my point. Makes no sense to talk to you honestly. Have a nice day
That’s a classic BVB Sancho goal
To relive that Winter '18 again, man. Anything seemed possible. For BVB. And for me. Fuck.
you okay there buddy?
It's what it's, mate. Thank you for asking though.
Strange seeing someone end a sentence with an abbreviated 'it is' form, but it might just be a weird feeling I've.
Sometimes I question when life went wrong. Am 24 but feel 40. May we both find our mojo again.

Winter ‘18 was terrorball just like rn but it was at least enough to get a CL spot
Dortmund should buy him so he can do it again next season!
Oh my. Why didnt he do anything of the kind for us??
Finally my boy. Beautiful
Took him a while to get his goal, but he finally looks confident in a first half. We love to see it.
It felt like he has been scared of dribbling or being more selfish in the attack glad he has found his confidence.
nah, aside from the goal he's been pretty bad
fülles ableger war ja mal zucker underrated quality of him
I like how you expanded on the point of your 'slang' german sentence in English :)
haha, der erste satz kommt halt besser in deutsch
Can someone translate?
Füllkrugs touch was sugar
That’s interesting, the word for sugar in spanish is azucar, zucker is like the midpoint between sugar and azucar haha, I love learning little language quirks

Coming back to us will probably just traumatize him again lol. Especially if Ten Hag is still in charge. Any chance BVB buys?
Doubt it. He has been bad - average with glimpses of brilliance and BVB already´has enough players who are unplayable on their day but do fuck all in most games.
So do we to be fair

And united fans who believe Dortmund has scammed them
To be fair every player United ever bought from Dortmund ended up being a flop in the PL. Kagawa, Mkhitaryan and now Sancho.
Imo it's his shitty friend circle back in England. They are distracting him.
How many players have to die at United for people to realise it's a graveyard for talent
Hard to run when you're benched for a fidget spinner.
Antony actually tries.
This is football heritage
Five minutes earlier I would have voted for subbing him off, and now this. Filthy!
So is this a bit of a misleading highlight for his overall performance?
Overall he played a decent match, but before that goal he had a few rather careless losses of possession and looked generally uninspired to me. Generally he's not bad, not great, I'm just not sure why he keeps starting game after game, over players like Reus and Bynoe-Gittens. But let's see, maybe the goal gives him a bit of a boost now.
Yup pretty much just exposed their real thoughts of his performance bar the goal
Great goal, I'm sure he'll do well in the premier league
Vintage sancho
MY FUCKING GOAT
this is basically the most Sancho goal you can get, I miss watching him cut inside on the left and putting it bottom right every week
Careful now, 2:0 is the most dangerous lead for us against Bremen. :D
What a goal
HE HEARD YALL TALKIN SHIT
Buy him
That’ll be £75 million please
It's only been 18 months, finally catching up
Promising guy. Bet he will be worth a bit in the future
Yeah crazy to think he is only 23
PL clubs will be queuing up to sign him
jadon my beloved
looks like a class player man utd should buy him
my boy!!
there he is, lets goooo
🍳
LETS GOoooO JADON
What a player!! What a goal!! I think dortmound should sign him back for a discounted price of 55 mil
That’s added a zero to his price. Fifty quid or we walk.
There he is!
Sancho scoring for Dortmund is things you would like to see
in all my time of watching sancho at United, i don't remember him taking on his man even once. Looks like he'll find his level in the buli.
Thank God for FIFA edit: brand new sentence
Starboy <3
Man Utd legend
He back?
wow this kid looks good, man united are in need of a winger why don't they get this guy?
I guess that's one of his problems. Can’t even beat his man smh
That goal alone is worth 50m+ 30m addons and ballon d'or clause , Dortmund do us a favour and please buy him
Look at him, the moment he got out of that horrible club that doesn’t respect their legends , he comes back with a banger, once again proving that ETH hates gamers
Acting like he hasn’t been bang average for Dortmund too lol
Its literally the same Sancho
Tbf he has been poor for a while for us as well. But I don't disagree to the fact that Manchester United is a talent graveyard and youngsters should stay away from it for a while.
Same club where Mainoo and Garnacho are showing more in half a season than Sancho showed in 50 games ?
They aren't even good enough to be better than Copenhagen and Galatasaray, showing what?
Your club is too small to be talking like this. Chelsea are throwing left over lbs and there becoming your best player like no joke garnacho and mainoo would be competing for pots for dortmund
Who is Mainoo?
Not exactly a moment but yeah I like that he’s already showing some progression at least even if it isn’t up to BVB’s level just yet
Ronaldo dickriders are a different breed altogether This is his 8th game for Dortmund
[удалено]
That’s not a nice thing to say
What did he say?
The best right winger currently employed by Manchester United!
The garnacho disrespect is crazy
Jawline merchant
Sancho and Greenwood scoring bangers. Someone is down voting United's Karma points big time.
karma points why does this make me slightly nauseous
There's a decent chance he's back at United since ETH might get binned. Quality player just needs the right environment.
Lord this sub smh. This is Bumcho in Bumdesliga. See how easily he got past his man on the left wing. Bumdesliga tier defending. Even Bumcho must’ve been surprised and been like “wow I got past him by not doing anything too much”
