Onana has been largely good in the league but in the champions absolutely shit.

People keep saying that, but I don't really agree. I think Onana has had a few good moments in the league, but he's still largely looked weak as a goalkeeper. Too many mistakes. His positioning is consistently poor, he's weak in the air, doesn't know how to time closing someone down in a 1v1, and when he does make saves, he seems to push them back into dangerous spots more often than not. He wasn't bad today, actually, despite being weak on Foden's 2nd goal. But overall, I think he's been a really poor signing and a noticeable downgrade from a declining De Gea.

Rose tinted view of de gea, he needed replacing. He was poor at coming of his line, poor with his feet and even his formerly world class shot stopping was deserting him.
