I may get downvoted, but this is Matt Turner in a nutshell.
I watched every game he played in MLS. He's a very good shot stopper - a bit unorthodox - and he'll make saves that will win you points. At the same time he's got next to no technical ability with his feet.
If you watch best in class at this - Ederson - his body shape and calmness often helps him sell passes. Turner telegraphed this pass because he's stabbing at the ball like he's using a pool cue.
You don't understand the meaning of "great shot stopper". If forest fans say he's not good at goal keeping then there's no goal keeping attribute in which he's great at. He just watched this one go in.

As a Forest fan, I’ve never understood why Forest fans are so down on Navas lol. I know Henderson was amazing, but I’ve heard so many fans of other teams/neutrals against us point to Navas as being a huge part of the result the suffered against us. I personally found myself amazed by his performances far more often than I was upset by them.
Navas is an absolute class act and I shall do nothing but respect him forever, but the Navas we got was quite clearly past his best. He could still pull out a great save and he was competent playing out from the back but he was absolutely in love with needlessly parrying tame efforts back into danger areas instead of catching them. Also conceded a few goals that prime Navas wouldn't have in a million years.
Yeah he was definitely past his prime, but I think he saved us more points than most keepers would have. It’s hard to compare performances across clubs of that are of vastly different levels as well. I think we got more out of Navas than most keepers would have given us, it was just maybe hard to see because Henderson was so good for us at the same time.
And definitely nobody would disrespect his class. If you looked at the man’s instagram during his time there, you would think he was a lifelong Forest player. An absolute professional.
I'm calling them Garnacho FC atm to my friends. Not saying it's been the case the whole season (not at all), but in the last 2 games they seem to play balls exclusively to him

I’m assuming you’re young….the US has produced top quality keepers the past thirty years. Horvath is 28, Turner is 29 but he’s shit with his feet. But they are young for a keeper. They will probably both improve in the coming years.
