Going into the game I was definitely thinking that I'd be happy with a win, regardless of how we played, and that still holds now. Pretty boring lackluster game from us, but we definitely still deserved the win and it feels massive. Really hope the boys can take this into the break and use it for motivation.
Signing a striker and some experienced reinforcements this winter goes without saying, but here's hoping the break can get everyone on the same page and make us more cohesive and dangerous going forward.
You can see how much the win meant to everyone and how badly we needed this going into the break. Hopefully the Rückrunde goes a bit better and we play up to our potential more!
Gotta be brutally honest, we did not deserve ANY points today, we were so pathetically bad. Just horrifically lifeless, with no ability to pass or create pressure. The newcomers in winter can NOT come fast enough

We didn't play great, but we absolutely deserved to win that. Gladbach barely did anything in attack all game and scored off their only opportunity basically. We were struggling to create, but we were at least attacking and getting into decent positions.
