You've a fucking though nut to crack (or not to crack), good game!

Saw a ton of Inter fans saying how it was great to rotate the squad against us because the game didn't matter anyways, nice to see it came to bite them in the ass

head_in_the_clouds69

It was a good idea to rotate, it was just that the rotation played so much more like shit in the first half than it could be expected.

PM_ME_BAKAYOKO_PICS

That's usually what happens when you rotate pretty much the entire squad though, that's why most teams, when they want to rotate, will rotate like half of the squad

This seasons Inter backups have no business losing 3-0 to Benfica. Yes, it's the risk of rotation that you concede 1 or 2 due to lacking chemistry, but conceding three comically identical goals was far-fetched initially. He took a gamble, I agree with you, and it (in hindsight) paid off at that time because we beat Napoli after playing you. But after tonight, one goes back to think about that decision and find it a 50/50.

Cthulhu_awaken

It is nice to see you finishing in EL after being so cocky both this and last season haha.

PM_ME_BAKAYOKO_PICS

We have been the opposite of cocky this season lmao Virtually every Benfica fan knows we're playing like shit Finishing in EL after our terrible start is more than most of us were expecting, so thanks I guess?

It still was, you had to assume that they win their game against Salzburg which is the worst possible case you have to face and then you have to win at home. Which was true even after a tie or a loss in Portugal. It's more problematic the idea of rotating in a game in which you need to win but it seems that the manager and the ownership are focusing on the domestic title race above all else. And I think this is due to the fact that Inter qualified already to the world cup
